Ya...so trade in the ps4 for a pro in a couple weeks. Then get psvr in a lil bit after some 2nd wave games hit. But there certainly is no reason to buy a slim right now with the pro right around the corner, even if one doesnt own a 4k tv yet.
Who in their right mind would buy a ps4 slim with vr just releasing and the pro right around the corner??? Enjoy the "victory" microsoft, because its about to get ugly until scorpio arrives. Btw i own a bone and FH3 is keeping me from selling it at the moment.

I hope to god that these "rumors" arent true, but there is a LOT of smoke pointing in the same direction. And with Nintendo's recent track record, I am inclined to believe them.
The problem is that you are paying a comparable price for primarily nintendo exclusives, compared to exclusives + 3rd party games. I would GLADLY buy a nintendo console if I could get the 3rd party games as well.
The thing is that they are limiting their user base with this model and greatly limiting their profits. Their market was limited to 12 mil for the wiiu. While their 1st party games sell great, imagine how they would sell if opened up to pc/ps/xbox. SM3DW would ...

Difference is on xbox/ps you are not only paying for the exclusives but the tons of outstanding 3rd party games.
Except with the NX they have already abandoned the home console market in favor of a handheld that plugs into your tv.

SM3DW and R&C 2016 were outstanding. If only we could get a proper 3d Mario with more open worlds to explore instead of the 2D/3D. Would also KILL for a Prime4 as I thought Prime 1 and 2 were the pinnacle of 3d platforming.
