Oh yeah I forgot that cell phones have always existed and land lines are extinct.
Well there you have it folks. NX to slaughter Pro/Scorp.
I think they are looking the cell phone model and are moving towards it. I think most people upgrade their phones every two years or so and most carriers have plans where you upgrade for free every two years. Why couldnt consoles work like this? Have a program where we pay a monthly fee for Live/PSN which includes the console, with the opportunity to trade in your old console for the latest and greatest every two years? Obviously it would have to be priced right, but I think this model mi...
This game looks fucking awesome
I sympathize with you monkey. I too LOVE that Nintendo magic. Its time to face reality though. They just aint what they used to be. And by all accounts they are producing their third strike with this gimmick pseudo-console. I would like nothing more for them to return to greatness bit its just not looking good.
Will the architecture be easy to port to like bone/van4 though? Graphics werent the problem for me with the wiiu as SM3DW was and still is one of the best looking games around. The problem for me was no Metroid, no Zelda, no TRUE 3D Mario.
Only two of those would I consider good games, MK8 and Bayonetta. I also LOVED SMBW3D.
Wow 30? Dare you to name 10 lol
Its like grandpa tryin to google a yahoo.
Fare the well. Ill miss your 4 good games 😢
My only question is will we have tne option to play 1080/60 on the Pro?
@starchild
Well then whatever will you do in a couple of years when 8k tvs become available??? Its all relative. To me 4k streaming looks MILES BETTER than native 1080p, not to mention the curved screen and improved refresh rate so my purchase has been well wort it. For MOST consumers, streaming 4k will be a big improvement over what they are used to and will be sufficient. Google fiber is hitting my town soon, so 4k streaming should improve but will unfortunately be li...
Waitwaitwait...multiplayer paywall is your big concern, but you praise a company that had what two decent online multiplayer games??? Exposed
@monkey
Im willing to give Nintendo a chance. I grew up on Atari and Nintendo. I LOVE what Nintendo used to be. Im dying for them to return to form. I think you are confusing haters with people like me who are just hugely disappointed with what they have become.
You are right, we havent seen the NX yet. But judging by their recent past its hard not to imagine that the rumors are true. I mean the Ps4Pro rumors and Scorpio rumors were pretty dead on...
@kleptic
The difference now is that there is a different form of media giving us access to VERY AND I MEAN VERY similar content. One form of media is very inexpensive, where you can have access to virtually any movie/tv show and never have to leave your house, whereas the other, while offering a slightly superior experience, costs $40 a pop and you have to drive to the store, or order through the male which can take days. I think for MOST people, convenience is going to w...
Uff...the cards are really stacked against the NX if even half of the rumors are true...hopefully the hardware completely comes out of left field and blindsides us with something awesome. Otherwise, if it is this high powered handheld that plugs into your tv, its gonna be DOA.
Easily the most pleasant surprise of this gen so far.
I know that all of mine is. Most of my 4k comes from netflix and amazon prime. Directv also has a lot of first runs as well as 3 dedicated channels in 4k. I simply have no need for a 4k blue ray player, and am glad they omitted it to keep that oh so sweet $399 price point.
Per title...but they did do a lot more than "change the clock speed of the cpu" its the gpu power that was the big change.
They are still a luxury item. You dont "need" them. Especially the smartphones that the majority of people who own a console have. And whether or not a smartphone is a necessity...wtf does that have to do with the subscription model. People pay a monthly subscription for netflix and the app is included. Oh wait I guess netflix is a necessity.
