Here's another way to look at the situation. Both you and OfficerDewey state that you're getting the collectors editions. As awesome as this game looks I don't think the collectors edition will be to hard to find.
I don't see the collectors edition of 1886 selling out like Destiny's Ghost Edition or like the Borderlands 2 Loot Chest Edition.

Destiny is an online only game so physical is really meaningless. Well unless you got a collector's edition. Those GS employees shouldn't care which version you purchase. A sale's a sale regardless.
I'm trying to go 99% digital with next-gen. The convenience of digital is awesome.
What your saying is... If the retailer doesn't have a product to sell to the consumer even though the consumer ordered it. The consumer should still receive the product from the retailer even if the product is not available.

Why do we continue to allow such rubbish articles to be approved? Limited Edition should stand for being limited. Its the responsibility of the retailer to not oversell something.
Consumers need to learn that Best Buy is the last place to pre-order anything classified as limited. This is the second time they've done this. Remember Forza 4 Limited Edition?

I agree with snowmobiles. I couldn't imagine trying to shoot a rocket while going down a hill on a snowboard. But then again it would be something worth trying.
