I don't see any reason not to have cheat codes. If you don't want to use them no one is forcing it on you. Plus, its nice to use them once you beat the game.
GameStop US stores still have Collectors available along with Special editions for pre-order.
I have to agree with most of the comments here. Sony has finally done something right with its early announcement of the PS4. I personally haven't been this excited about a new gaming system since the N64 release. Yes, its been that long.

Looks cool but as of right now I'm done with the Dead Space franchise. Maybe I'll buy the DLC when its 50 percent off or when PlayStation Plus members get it for free.

Crysis released 2 weeks ago and now its 20 bucks cheaper. Wow, Just Wow. What's the point of buying day one if its going to be cheaper a few weeks later?!

Who said you wouldn't be able to play them? It's not like the current systems are going to stop working once the PS4 or next Xbox release. So many people think its the end of the world because there won't be BC available.

I could careless about the BC option. I plan on keeping my PS3 until it dies. Done with trading in systems. Plus, If BC was adding into the PS4 it would increase the overall price tag. Want to play PS3 or Xbox 360 games just keep those systems.

This has to be one of the better box arts. A nice mix of the main chariacter and Neo-Paris in the background. Can't wait for this game.
I asked this question via Twitter. I got a response that said, "no plans at this stage..." I can understand why based on the June release. Still would have been cool to see it on the PS4.

I feel the same way. Just not about the Wii U or PC gaming. I liked PC building but found it to be so time consuming and all that money.
2013: PS4 - I mean 8GB of RAM...mind blowing.
2014: Xbox - By then the next Halo game should be releasing, and they will have a custom Halo system w/ game. Makes more sense to wait for that option. That's what I did with Halo 3.
Anyone that didn't see this coming is a fool. PlayStation Plus is doing well and Sony is taking note. I'm sure they have kicked themselves a few times for not looking at a sub service from the beginning.
I have PlayStation Plus and I find value in the service. I'm also an Xbox Live member and find great value in the service.

I have a few concerns with going planet side but they don't outweigh my desire for this game. Anyone that thinks Visceral is going to ruin this game is just being overly cautious and should wait until it has released.

Just because you played Halo or even a few of the games doesn't mean you understand the Halo Universe. Dive into the novels, graphic novels and you will understand what I and many others mean by "truly involved."
Halo is much more then just an FPS and please don't put it on the same level as COD or any other game. Because the Halo (franchise) Universe is on its own level that honestly no other franchise can touch, or may never touch.

I have to "laugh" at this comment. Only because I feel you've never become truly involved in the Halo Universe. If you had, you'd understand without question.
I've been very lucky with buying the last two collector's edition at a discounted price a year or two after release.
I will buy this collector's the same way.
