Wow, this isn't good news. If the DLC is free it wont blow up in their face but if you have to buy the packs even for $0.99. The end result will not be a good one.

I'm buying an Xbox One Fall 2015 for Halo 5, and I'm still not going to purchase it new or pre-owned.
I honestly don't plan on buying it new or pre-owned at any price. Buying it pre-owned still opens the door to purchasing digital add-on content.
I'm just very disappointed in how the whole thing was handled, and as I've said before I don't reward bad behavior.

I have a feeling that most of PS3 owners own a PS4. I didn't say all of them I said most, which means they don't care.
This may or may not turn out to be a good idea. I have that feeling that it will be a stripped down version compared to the XB1, PS4 and PC versions.
Its DS4 compatible as well.
I have one pre-ordered but may need skip for now do to a furnace replacement happing this month. A PlayStation TV won't keep the family warm during a WI winter. Sucks to be an adult every now and then.

I hate to say it but here goes.
Its one thing when a new IP becomes exclusive but when you take a franchise that has been multiplatform for a few years now and start to move to exclusivity. Well that's where I draw the line.
Even though I'll be purchasing an Xbox One holiday 2015 for Halo 5. I'm unfortunately not going to purchases the new Tomb Raider as it would have been for my PS4.

I've gone digital with Destiny. Bought the Digital Guardian Edition and I did save $5 over buying the game and expansion pass individually, and I saved $10 by not buying the physical limited edition.
If one waits long enough the digital version of a game will drop. It all depends on what you're willing to do to save money or spend it.
I'm hoping for something new and exciting. The Battlefield franchise is starting to dry up.
Hopes: Something we've never seen before will be announced.

The Xbox brand has been run into the ground by a fool that is now helping run Zynga into the ground. Thank goodness for Phil Spencer. At lest he understands what gamers want and is working to bring back the Xbox brand.
There is a lot of ground to cover before the Xbox brand is back to its 360 glory days.
Developers/Publishers are even feeling the down turn of the Xbox brand....

The only downside is that my furnace is 25+ years old. Its going to have to be replaced for safety reasons. Plus I'm adding duct work into my finished basement.
Its mind blowing when the previous owners finished a large section of the basement they neglected to add heating ducts.
