Not sure if that's screen tearing or not at 2:30, but that was annoying.
Yes. But MS needs a new xbone "meme" to compete with Sony's new "meme" machine.
People despise any sort of censorship, which has been happening a lot lately. Also the explanation is weak. If you look at the non american version, the face is still being covered by the rating.
Looks ugly and unnecessary.
Bolt action rifle is the primary weapon of the war and the main classes are LMGs and SMGs. Some more DICE quality I see. One of the few SMGs of World War 1 didn't even see fully product until the last year of the war.
Why can't you beat it? Get to the center, you're done. You think a randomly generated universe means you'll never beat it? Does that mean you think Minecraft and Elite Dangerous are games that last multiple life times also?
For me it makes me think "gee, glad to know you're still showing the same exact screenshots from months ago".
"Which we won't be buying"
Why? So far nobody has expressed why they hate the new one. Is it because of the futuristic space setting? (Mind you, I haven't purchased a COD game since Modern Warfare).
"brought out the fat cats masquerading as, "artists"
This. I remember when Killzone 2 was "patched" to play more to the whining COD kids at the time. I remember when Resistance 2 was changed completely from its formula to appeal to the COD fanbase (luckily the game had many redeeming qualities). I remember when MOH was changed to appeal to the COD fanbase. See where I'm going with this?
"No they won't"
This. I'm still on Windows 7. Good luck turning my PC into an Xbox. Not to mention Microsoft would have hell on their hands if they attempted to do anything that undermines Steam or GOG.
@IrishStoner
Objectively? My objective experience with it has been pretty trash on my laptop. And faster is relative. Takes my 7 machine about 10 seconds to get to my desktop.
Masterpiece? A Hat Fortress 2 clone with Moba heroes is far from a masterpiece. Especially not one that has wallhacks and auto aiming hacks built in to the game.
Wait, is this just asking for a better matchmaker or something? One second the author is writing about match making and pre made teams, the next second about team killing. I have no idea what this article is trying to convey.
More Bethesda quality. Aren't they just such wonderful developers? /s
This. The sheep are eating up the trash that Activision and EA are constantly putting out.
Yes they should. Unfortunately they along with several other publishers know that they can get away with it.
@Walter_Official
NO, there is no difference. Bethesda makes absolute bank when they release their buggy POS games. And small is relative. 100 people is small compared to the insane number of people working on a single Ubisoft game. Meanwhile it's larger than other studios putting out projects that aren't buggy.
The real problem is that they've gone out of their way to shut down all third party servers for the game. It sounds like they want to be the ones to choose when to pull the plug, that way they can dictate when people move on to the latest "GTA" esque online experience.
Sounds more like they're warning people that they intend to eventually abandon it.
Boo.
"Especially in the overall scope"
What? Elite Dangerous is a massive 1:1 representation of our galaxy. People (idiots) have spent literal weeks going from one side of the galaxy to the other one, just to say they did. There was a 12 week mission players went on.
