This is no longer 2006. Wikipedia has been a reliable source of information for a very long time. Much more reliable than Encyclopedias. Mind you I have an entire shelf of them that contain a lot of WRONG information. And if you're that anal about it, go read the freaking sources at the bottom.

Hello Mr Strawman. Just because another game series is using an outdated engine doesn't mean this one should be doing the same. They both should have spent the money to upgrade. Especially with how well their games sell.
60 FPS should be a standard for all games, but yes, racing games especially should be 60 fps minimum.

EA has gotten good? Where? They certainly haven't gotten good with Battlefront by releasing a watered down crappy version of a beloved series. They certainly haven't gotten good by killing off Burnout and Criterion. They certainly haven't gotten good by killing off Sim City and Maxis.
Nah, EA are the king of crap in the gaming industry. I can't think of any other company that has killed more franchises than they have.
The gaming community is full of idiots. It would be nice if there was a subset of people that actually did represent and speak for them. This way maybe we'd have quality games instead of remakes and DLC.

I can tell you some of my reasons as to why I think it's in general a bad game
-Combat is bland and consists of nothing but stare forward and slash
-Your actions have no effect on the world, you become the head mage of the college? Oh hey, you should go study at that place, I hear they're accepting newbies
-AI were brain dead at times, you could shoot an enemy NPC in the eye with an arrow and he'd dismiss it five seconds later, your follower wo...

Let it stay dead. We don't need EA resurrecting any more series only to ruin them. Let EA stick to Battlefield. I can only imagine how bad it would be they released a new one. Car skins for 5 dollars each, micro transactions everywhere. Pay 30 dollars and you can unlock all the cars immediately. Some weird progression system.

This generation of games has been the most mediocre so far. Remaster after collection after remaster after collection. I guess publishers realized they don't have to try any longer and can just give people the same thing just with some "updated' textures.
Then what is the point of going to World War 1? If you only care about fun and essentially "F**k" historical accuracy, then it's pointless to go back in time. The entire point should be having fun WITH the historical accuracy. But it sounds like you've already jumped on the bandwagon and don't actually care about the time period at all.
It's much more profitable to sell some shark cards and put out some minuscule multiplayer content, that's what happened.
