This is why I am vehemently against QTE games. Because they're not games. I used to play the same thing on DVD copies of Disney movies.
I'm no lawyer but they could still probably send a C&D because it would still be using their assets/design.
That's going to be short lived. If you're using someone else's IP you should always wait to announce it when you're finished and are releasing it *for free. Until then, companies (especially Konami) will no doubt send a C&D notice. Of course they have every right to.

Unless the game takes place on a field like Rocket League or in a civil wear reenactment/historical setting, then there should be people there. Is a battlefield a designated field area for you? Battlefields aren't like basketball games, people don't decide that one sectioned off area will suddenly be where they fight.

The Playstation 3 could do it because they almost literally put a playstation 2 into the system, including circuitry from the PS2. The Playstation 4 has none of this. The titles would have be emulated and judging from how it's going on PC the emulation isn't that easy.
Hopefully it's a proper sequel if they do ever consider bringing it back. I wouldn't want the trash modernization that many games have been getting. Especially not for another series I remember so fondly. But then again, knowing how it's not "mature" enough, I would be worried that the game would fail financially.
It looks exactly like Battlefield 4 with an extra third person mode. Take off those Star Wars goggles and see the forest through the trees.

Third person view is for those of us who played and are fans of the previous two battlefront titles. Too bad those of us who are actually fans have no interest in this trash "re-imagining" of a series we love.

There's that word again. You know, consumers are actually entitled to having a complete/finished product if they are paying for it. No one franchise lasts because it is the mindset that you have taken on (complete apathy to the point that a series can turn into microtransaction trash) that ruins them.
