Proof?
So if you never played Mass Effect on the 360, can you not play Mass Effect 2 on the 360? Are you required to import your character?
If your hypothesis is true then how do you explain all the joy 360 fans expressed in all the previous 'MGS4 coming to the 360' threads?
I see two possibilities.
1) You're wrong, and they really do want MGS on the 360.
2) You're right, and the only joy they have in their sad little lives is flying around the internet like vultures, waiting to swoop down to do some d*ck pulling on the PS3 fans. (and I know full well fanboys on all sides are capable o...
Ouch
Well, help him out amd bubble him up!
Yeah, that what everybody is always complimenting NG2 about...it's fine camera system.
'people don't have a problem paying for Cable TV, it's a similar concept, you don't own the content that you watch,'
TiVo + DVD burner = owned content.
'Joined N4G 1 day 9 hours ago '
Yeah Kewl, he knew this article was coming out. He's psychic. Guess his PS3 predictions are worrying you, huh? :)
'If this game would be on 360 is would sell at least 2 million 1 st week. MS knows how to sell their games.'
So what you're saying is 360 only owners would LOVE to be able to buy this game.
Wow, that's quite the endorsement.
Too bad they can't. :(
Swift, so if you're playing a team based game, it's just a matter of switching channels between game (to say discuss tactics) and party (to chat with friends)?
Licensing.
What other features from XBL? (and I'm serious, not busting stones or trying to start sh1t)
I haven't used the party system in XBL yet, but does that allow you to hook up with friends, play different games, and still remain in chat with the party?
Being able to invite a friend to play a game who doesn't have that game loaded/isn't playing it already.
I really don't think it matters much. A clever title is not going make up for poor gameplay, and a numbered title isn't going to harm good gameplay.
Also, for devs and publishers, it's a toss up between being seen as a new IP which may hamper sales, or being seen as milking a franchise, which may have the same affect.
If it's a good fun game, I personally could care less whether it's numbered of subtitled.
I disagree. When the videogame industry was basically Nintendo vs Sega, videogames were thought of as children's playthings. When the PS1 was released, and brought with it more mature titles, the appeal widened. Therefore, it could be inferred that Sony, while I won't say soley made gaming mainstream, did make a very substantial contribution to gaming becoming mainstream.
The Fallout 3 DLC is $10.00 (800 MS points). Do you think MS is not getting a cut of every sale?
It's 370 MB, at 16 cents per GB, we can round this to 40% of 16 cents or 6.4 cents per unit sold. Do you think that's the reason Bethesda didn't offer it on PSN?
Perhaps, MS has an exclusivity deal with Bethesda for the DLC to ensure more sales of the game on the 360? That would mean MS is paying Bethesda in one form or another (direct payment, more favorable l...
You do understand the implication of 'premium content', right?
As in 'free content' vs 'premium content'?
As in stuff you don't pay for vs stuff you pay for?
So you're proud to pay for a service that allows you to pay for content?
Wow, and to think your post didn't make much sense before I worked this out for you.
Now then, apart from 'premium content' Microsoft has worked a exclusivity deal for, exactly what 'premium ...
'i agree with you on the surface but why should a publisher pay to post content on PSN when they can post demos and content on LIVE?'
For the additional potential 21 million customers?
For charged DLC would you have me believe MS is not getting a cut?
'Who the hell would be busy text chatting when you're in game?'
Those same idiots texting on their cell phones while driving. :)
