There won't be a need to speculate once E3 starts.
If you can't find what you need on the XMB, you couldn't find your ass with both hands in your back pockets.
inFAMOUS day one for me. Will see how Fight Night turns out before deciding on UFC. Fighting games are a filler or diversion for me, not a main staple.
Why would they? Because of a business deal. Try reading the article. Sony gave up exclusivity rights to GTAIV for exclusivity of Take Two's next franchise.
A better question would be: If Sony is misrepresenting this, why wouldn't R* refute it?
It makes sense for R*. They get Sony to give up exclusivity on a well received, well known franchise, one that everyone knows R* will be able to profit from handsomely (especially with the MS DLC deal), in exchange for ...
True Thom, and if this article is accurate and Sony gave up exclusivity of GTAIV in order to acquire exclusivity on the next franchise, I don't see them giving that up.
How does that episodic content work on those HDD-less consoles?
PE 1 and 2 would be sweet!
They're hidden trophies, just like 360 games have hidden achievements.
They may contain spoilers, and are thus hidden.
PSN games don't have platinum trophies, because they're generally shorter than disc based games, just as XBLA games don't have 1000 gamer points, only 200 points. Neither have anything to do with skill level required to complete the games.
'i'd rather beat a game, get extra content like more powerful weapons, costumes and extra abilities that "do something" than boring numbers.'
Why can't we have both (though I'm not sure most costumes actually do anything...)? I've got one platinum trophy, and that's from Uncharted, a game I'll replay from time to time anyway. Why not the added reward? I'm not going to play a bad game just for trophies/achievements, or labor through a painful grind just to unlock one...
How can more replay value be excluded from considering a game better? We're talking a game as a whole, a complete experience, better value for your investment, etc.
Now if you're talking about game components, then I agree wholeheartedly. Trophies/achievements don't contribute to better atmosphere, better graphics, better controls, etc., but I'm not playing games lacking in those areas anyway.
You forgot the 3rd 'F' for fool.
'the "sales dont matter" attitude only started to defend the ps3, plain and simple...'
Wrong. 'Sales matters' as a fanboy tool to belittle other fanboys started with this gen. Never before among gamers has sales been such a venemous topic. Sales do matter, but to gamers, only to the point that your favorite franchises see another release. Beyond that it becomes a tool used by tools to make themselves feel better for having a small tool.

Reread the title. The keyword being console. The PC is a platform, but it is NOT a console.
Lets see what it actually does 'in game' on a console before deciding one way or the other.
One dollar for each year of development?
inFAMOUS = first day buy.
inFAMOUS + Uncharted 2 MP demo = call in sick first day buy.
'MS has a monopoly on fun games.'
Do you really believe this nonsense, or are you trying for a monopoly on stupidity? If you are, this is N4G so step up your game.
'Take away the graphics and you are left with a very mediocre FPS.'
Take away your 'I have a PS3' comment and you are left with typical fanboy bullshit.
It's all good. Me playem both systems. You were right about Marcus, and I was adding to it. These polls draw the haters.
and the 360 fans must have voted Kratos...
Why is it worse?
