I tried the Xbox one...briefly.
I tried the franchise last gen and couldn't get into it for some reason. I wonder how thus one is going to be different. It seems to really be a love it or hate it type of franchise?
Have some kids!
I'm going to use the "but the kids would love it" line and see what happens. Kids tend to get the priority!
Well there look to be some more modes to do, a new game engine, as well as paintball and big head cheats.
It's not a port of the N64 title is what I think we meant. It is a reboot or redo though, so we may just be splitting hairs :)
It's hard to tell if the console and controller are tacky or good. I liked the second Halo console and controller, but my kids would go nuts over this one. The wire decal under the gold is kind of a cool touch.
Were you being sarcastic because of how much we have to pay? Yes it's a curse: our games are almost twice as much and the console is over $100 more, and our dollar is better. One of those WTF things.
If you are being serious, it's coming out in the US too...for cheaper.
Yeah me too. But if the new game is fresh and not just to exploit the franchise, I may be interested.
I'm not interested at all in the HD remake.
Yup. Never. But this should be good anyway. Too bad they couldn't throw that version in as an 'extra', hey.
Not exactly a port as EYEamNUMBER1 points out above, and also if you read the article you'll see that it's about the multi, new modes, and the fact that it is on 360/PS3 now instead of just Wii.
In any case I'm glad it's coming for 360/PS3!
I love what they are doing to the multiplayer! I'd still like to see a new game rather than a remake of a remake though, with new exotic locations and story.
Hopefully they are at least on the right track now.
Bubbles. Discussion and debate is healthy!
Well I don't know, but maybe they've had a go of it? Or understand the specs?
There have been lots of articles about games and how crap or good they are BEFORE they are out. And about Wii U, too.
It's an opinion piece with valid concerns. I personally love the potential of the Vita but worry about if it will be supported by devs besides the Sony group.
Well better graphics do require more work, if you read the article, and this means more expensive to make.
The PSP had better graphics...it didn't help it at all; hardly any games. So valid argument in my book.
Games are $80 in Australia mate. And our dollar is better than the greenback too..so it is even more expensive in US dollars.
I'm not happy with not owning my purchased software and being able to play it offline.
So while I don't mind as much downloading stuff that allows you to play it where and how you want, I don't like being tied to the internet (like some apps do when they don't really need to).
I agree there are pluses and minuses for each...but you can't beat free multiplayer :)
Fillion has both the look and the quirky humour down pat. He HAS to be the frontrunner for it.
Just watch Firefly...you'll see why.
Funnily enough I've never played any of those! I still have to catch up on a couple of games I haven't finished from earlier in the year though.
Some of the comments I've read on here are as long and detailed as a submission would be :)
