Which is perfectly fine because Sony’s exclusives are what make the Playstation, else the One X would be selling way more because it clearly plays multi-plats better. The Series X will likely play multi-plats better but we all know that won’t matter to most consumers.

It seems the mainstream media is missing the point here. Cerny already stated that better graphics and fidelity going into a new gen is the expectation. What they wanted to do was something way more revolutionary. I have a feeling that us gamers have the slightest clue as to what this ultra-fast speed SSD is capable of, but I think that whatever it is we will be talking about it for years to come.
Is it me or does MS and their exclusive developers love to mention the PS5 in their interviews?
I think the developers will focus on the platform with the highest potential for copies sold. It's business in the end.

Why would the Series X re-branding under Sega in Japan only be big news to the rest of the world?
My guess is SEGA will announce that some remakes are in the works for next gen. Maybe even a Dead Space 4 announcement.
Obviously they won’t set the new date until things settle. Why set the next date prematurely only to have to potentially cancel it again? Some of you would really have a meltdown then and vow to not even buy the PS5.
I think they should change the law and make it so that people on the internet have to use their real identity when posting. That way you'd probably think about saying things like what you just did, because we know you are hiding behind the keyboard right now.

This isn’t the right message because that sort of implies the PS4 version may have technical issues.
The entire power difference argument is tiring. If power means so much then why is it Nintendo manages to do so well? The XBox One lagged behind because MS either were incapable of or refused to make compelling exclusive content.
If they don’t fix that this next gen is already a loss before it begins. That 2 years with no exclusive to start is already a dumb idea.
Sony is up against themselves here not MS. The expectation is that the PS5 is a quite noticeable leap over the PS4 Pro. I don't see them screwing that up and even if the event turns out to be underwhelming we know they will more than make up for it down the line. Sony has been doing this for a while now and they are simply the best.
