This site really isn’t the place for these sort of discussions. The majority of the audience here are those that are privileged and lack a serious understanding on anything to do with racism.
I understand that not all news is good news, but articles like this will quickly expose the White hoods made out of bed sheets.
The PS5 clearly is more artistic. The XBox looks like a PC tower of a wireless speaker.
The concern for the PS5 is it’s height. That may be difficult if your current space barely fits the Pro.
I would never get rid of my PS4 to begin with which is why the digital only version makes sense. However, what we do not know is of the PS5’s backwards compatibility offers some sort of enhancement to your PS4 games. If that is the case then the disc version may be worth the extra cash.
One thing is for sure and it’s that no one wants to pay an arm and a leg for 4k BluRay movies, which will likely become outdated in 2 years when 8k players are everywhere.
The article is actually saying that the digital only version could possibly be a sign that the end is near for physical discs and some collectors are worried about this.
At least that is how I interpreted it.
Show some compelling games. Preferably some new IPs.
The disc version would be nice for backwards compatibility enhancements, however the digital will likely have the far larger storage unit so it’s probably what I will buy this time.
