I think it’s just you.
And the Pro continues to this day to outsell the more powerful One X. Reason being is more “good” games.
Bet $$$$ on who will be last in the market in North America MS’ home turf.
Yet the Switch outsold both the Pro and the One X. Why was that?
To be honest I think it is the XBox fans stirring up some mess because it gives them a sense of hope. MS having the more capable hardware with more features has very much been the norm for the last 3 gens and this won’t change moving forward.
Power has yet proven to be the deciding factor in the end when it comes to market share. The facts show that it boils down to pricing and consistent exclusive software releases.
I’m not the slightest bit concerned w...
Question:
Do you think the CPU and GPU that Sony decided to use on the PS5 is a generational leap over the PS4 and PS4 Pro? or is it only marginally better?
I’m not upset because it allows people that want to work to continue working. I feel terrible for those that can’t right now. 2.25M applied for unemployment.
Better visuals and frames is expected on these new consoles.
What really matters is what will the unexpected entail? How will they change the way we play? VR for example was something new. That is what I want to find out.
As we speak XBox has the most powerful console with backwards compatibility, UHD BluRay and GamePass.
Matter of fact the advantage is larger right now.
How is that momentum going?
Come 1 year from now it will be business as usual. If they want to take advantage of the momentum they better drop some incredible heat.
Doesn’t effect most because most looking to get the PS5 will be looking for new experiences hence why we are shelling out $$$ on a new console. BC is an option but damn sure isn’t a deciding factor. Stats show that most don’t use it anyway.
The tech war or the sells war?
Because we all know who will sell way more consoles and software in the next 6 years.
That was an estimated example. I’m no tech geek but whatever decision was made it was based on performance consistency while keeping the power consumption and heat low. This sounds better than just throwing up large numbers that will never really be used.
The differences will be the exclusive content. This is what has always mattered the most. The PS5 is a sure thing, but what will MS do differently this time around.
P.S no exclusives for the first 2 years is already a terrible start.
And if true why does it matter?
We knew they would eventually have to reveal it anyway. You’re acting as if they were losing some momentum in the industry. They still have some bangers to be released this gen.
As for MS they promote tech specs but continue to fail at delivering on those promises.
How many amazing games have they released since the One X dropped with it’s 6TFs?
We haven’t seen TLOU 2 period, so what would be the point? They are going to show the superior version a couple of months before releasing something inferior? Smh!
Thought this was a game.
Possible however the console will cost you more to purchase if made outside of China, and believe me once things do go back to China MS will not drop the price for you.
Huh?
That will depend on how many units are available day one because the PS4 in particular was unavailable for several weeks after launch day.
Plus as in more than 150 million, but less than 151 million. Smh!
So that makes about 41.99 million XBox ones tops.
The problem with the XBox One was not that it was weaker, it was that it couldn’t hit 1080p on most games. On top of that it was more expensive because of the Kinect that no one wanted.
The One X (The most powerful console to date) still was still outsold by the Pro and the Switch after release. So in the end it will always be the games. MS has to sustain support of interesting exclusive games in order to build the brand to the level of Sony and Nintendo.
