Are you a fan of Sony or a fan of games?
What made Playstation was the fact that their games were good. Elden Ring for example is going to be the GOTY and it is multi-plat. I could care less about how these companies go about getting money so as long as the games are worth the price.
Sniper Elite 5 is a good one for Game Pass. I will have to buy it in the PS5 but I will hold off for a sale.
The value is in whether or not you will actually play the older games. For me no because I already have a backlog that I need to work through.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Hopefully this version is more readily available. I had to pay extra for my launch week PS5 and I can now say that I am glad I did because I have not seen another PS5 anywhere. It's beyond ridiculous.
@Chevalier to be fair MS did release that one shooter game that everyone complained was broken and incomplete. I don't remember the name of it. So there was something at least.

I thought this was an online multiplayer game like Friday The 13th and Predator Hunting Grounds.
Now I am interested knowing it is a single player game.

If the subscription base doesn’t grow upon the release of each major 1st party game GamePass as you know will either cease or the games will grow lesser in quality.

If you are struggling you may want to travel elsewhere. I realized that I have been playing the game out of order because I beat some tough bosses that I shouldn’t have and now the game is super easy as I track back though the “earlier” areas.
Same happened to me. I could kill the lion but the crucible knight was beating me down. Then suddenly they disappeared.
However after beating Radahn on my first try I discover that those two mini bosses reappeared. I managed to beat them because I came back even stronger.
I’m still having a blast. Level 122 and mowing through most enemies.
Why does it matter? Just hoping the new owners can do the franchise some justice.
Or you can just grind through and earn those perks for free right?
Your response did not really answer my question though. You said that they are shipping incomplete games where you are required to spend more money to get the complete experience. Your response is basically saying that people can pay cash for an unfair advantage. I'm not sure how true that really is but if it is true that would suck, however the original comments were about the developers being greedy an...
Can you be specific? Give an example of something that was released as an incomplete project that required real money to get the full/better experience?
Also these companies are a business. You can’t run a business giving away free stuff. It costs them money to make the DLC so why expect it for free? They don’t want to break even they want to make a profit.
If I felt that I was getting ripped off I would have quit this hobby a long time ago.
You new age gamers are some whiners. I have been gaming since forever and not once have I paid a single dime for in-game content. FFS just ignore it.
