I have fallen victim to the 1% before. I had at least 2 PS4 controllers where the RT button broke off because they chose to use a plastic pivot pin. Once I got one of those camouflage colored ones in year 2 I had no more issues.
My current PS5 controller has been drifting left intermittently as of late. It’s tolerable for now but I will eventually replace it.

Dope game but I couldn’t get through the 2nd play through. I heard the 3rd play through is the best one.
GamePass is a no brainer imo. Why would you not have the service if you have an XBox? I mean really why not? The day one games is an excellent selling point. Whether or not the games are good is debatable but at least you have the option to see for yourself without spending a lot.
As for PS Plus for me it isn’t a must have but since it is a few dollars more than what I have already been paying for PS Plus it’s no biggie. I figure I will find at least a few gems to play here...

You already have to pay $60 per year (PS Plus Essential) to play online, so for $30 more you get Extra.
Not knocking anyone but you’d have to be extremely cheap or broke to pay for the month or months with the game you want to play. Even still you’d be on the clock to finish the game before your month is up.
Provide a link where you can get a PS5 for retail right now? you can’t even find a Series X for retail either unless you sit at your computer hitting refresh on the site every morning.

The game was supposed to come in April, and then September, and now next year. That means the game was far from being ready and would have ultimately been a disappointment had it been released.
