I think a lot of these games are too long. That is more of the issue. Short and sweet is the better formula.It’s to the point where I find myself pushing to get through a game because it over stayed it’s welcome.HFW, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk were good examples.
Sifu, Returnal and Deathloop were just right.
To me this is why Sony excels because of the story element to their games. An interesting story makes up for the lack of innovation in gameplay.

Because they have only made one game. Sony strategically selects suppliers for acquisition.
Kena was a solid first effort and if they make a sequel that surpasses that one I’d then expect Sony to make them an offer.

I thought that only PS 1st party games would be priced at $70.
Bethesda and MS built up the hype bed and now they have to lay in it. People are critiquing the game based off of what was shown and what they said about it.
Hopefully the game turns out to be great, however the criticism right now is warranted. The game does not appear to be the game changer the industry needed.
I’d rather them work on what they want yo make. That is how we got a unique gem like Returnal.

I agree with the pricing comment. This shouldn’t be a $70 game. They aren’t re-shooting the mocap or recording new vocals.
That’s messed up. You should be allowed to keep the games as long as you are subscribing.
