Common sense should tell you that $59.99 of 10 years ago is not the same $59.99 today hence the increases.

This game is definitely better than that. It’s not perfect like any other game but it was very well made and fun to play.
Insomniac truly had no room for error here because the expectations were so high that the slightest nitpick would cost them major points off.

The speed during combat and traversal is noticeably faster. I only played for 25 minutes so I had yet to adjust.
Yo the opening 20 minutes was extremely well done. I’m glad that I avoided seeing too much prior to release. A lot of people are going to enjoy their new PS5s playing this for the first time.
You speak as if Insomniac is a 3rd party to Sony. I agree with what you're saying in essence but you cannot discredit Sony for recognizing their talents last gen and securing them. So now they are Sony, not some separate entity.
