End of the day it was the top selling game of the year. I’m sure the devs are more than happy with that. It guarantees they get to work on a sequel.
It’s not a bad move if it gets their earbuds and headsets to sell initially. Trust if they had Blue-Tooth day one no one and I mean no one would buy those ear buds when there are plenty of other options out there.
They will add it later down the line.

Don’t sound so dense. They released the game and they charged $60. With that being said the game should work perfectly especially with the extra year of development. If they wanted an excuse to release an inferior version the price should have reflected it.
It exists because they feel the need to get in on the remote playability of their own system. It doesn’t have blue tooth capability but it will allow you to use their wireless ear buds/head sets sold separately. They want to make this thing completely proprietary. Which is perfectly fine because you aren’t being forced to buy one.
I bet it will have better support/updates than any option through its life.
Sounds super cool but I honestly can’t see myself using it enough to justify buying one.
I believe the developers’ hard work is best honored by units sold. Awards are just subjective opinions.
Copies sold green lights the next project more than any GOTY award.

Sony doesn’t need to acquire studios as badly as MS did because they already make compelling software. What Sony is doing is investing in technology that we don’t yet know we that we want. In 3 years these are the moves we will look back on like aha now I see.
As a whole I trust their judgement and I am intrigued by what they are aiming to accomplish.
This is something that is worth waiting for. It will be even better after a few firmware updates. No need to pay resell.
