You might be one of the few odd men out that likes what the game has turned into, but I think the public has pretty much spoken about their disdain.

All the major news outlet has already voted including 1up, egm, game informer, ign, gamespot and so on.

***As I stated previously, there is a lot about this game in which I can register my disappointment. Decapitation for me being a big one whereas the lack of weapons, not so much.***...

I don't think OnLive will take off primarily because the things that are important to core gamers isn't there. When core gamers discuss 30 vs. 60 fps and accuracy of response, it is in direct opposite of what OnLive can offer.

However, I think as an alternative there is some place for it, but not likely with the core.

I can see for example that MS (or Sony) allow OnLive technology for current Xbox 360 owners when next generation is out. Low up-front c...

Although since it is Child's Play, I wouldn't request a refund since it's goal in my opinion is noble (and I don't think the vast majority would disagree with that).

However, I'm guessing a lot of people didn't know, or was confused so they are pissed it didn't go to what they intended it for and felt cheated.

That is exactly why a charity donation should be just that and separate the causes or at t...

As far as I know Child's Play was the one shutting it down due to all the confusion. Besides ME's cause had nothing to do with Child's Play despite the money coming in.

I kind of agree with this, it should be one or the other, not both!

Great list by the site, but man do they have to have one page for each title? ... also what is up with the stupid pop ups!

jeez!

Yeah, I'm sure all of the senior executives have great faith in Zynga!

That said, executives selling shares doesn't mean much. It could be just for diversification. The question I would have is, how many are selling and how much of their holdings?

***Ninja Gaiden 3 - 60fps
Devil's Turd - 30fps

You'd think if Itagaki was so great he would be able to get his games to run at 60fps. I guess not.***

What is wrong with 30fps?

It's all about what you try to achieve with game mechanics that you match a frame rate suitable for your vision. It's like saying, the game ain't 1080p native, so it ain't worthwhile playing.

As far as I can tell, I'm not really concerned about what data MS, Sony or Nintendo collects about me. Most of the data seems unimportant about what games I play, when I play or what I buy. Not a huge deal yet... unless they get hacked and loose my data which is a major issue as they have my birth date, name, address and email (hello spam!).

There is a small, but probably unwarranted concern about Kinect though.

On the other hand, Facebook and especially ...

Actually Itagaki was ousted by the then new president of Tecmo whom attempted to withold bonuses from the team. The former president, previous to the then new president valued Itagaki very much.

Itagaki left and took with him essentially the entire core members of Team Ninja and started Valhalla.

Itagaki singlehandedly started Dead or Alive to compete with Virtua Fighter and revived Ninja Gaiden as one of the greatest game (in my opinion) in recent times. <...

Unreal by far is not the worst engine.... UE3 alone is used by hundreds if not thousands of games. In fact, some of the most impressive games this generation is powered by UE3.

If anything, UE3 has proven to be extremely versatile and flexible so I expect nothing less of UE4. Epic has pretty much been a leader so far.

I don't have as much issues with $70 games, because if you can't afford them now just wait and they will drop in price. Capitalism will ensure fair market pricing on games. Just take a look at the current state, brand new games price drops within weeks now.

It is basically the one thing, publisher cannot screw me over on.

On the other hand, anti-consumer behavior such as online passes, and ugly DLC is far more damaging to me as a gamer.

If you love gaming, you will protect the industry by preventing companies from destroy it by considering ethics in your purchases.

The reason gamers as being stepped all over is because of people that don't care until it is too late.

5213d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

It does to some degree in my purchases too.

For instance, I don't buy EA games due to their anti-consumer behavior of:

- banning you from playing your legally purchased games if they disagree with your opinion on their forums
- shutting down game servers prematurely, yet has the audacity to ask for an online pass
- EA's online pass codes within brand new games expire!
- introducing online passes in the first place

@shadowmask

Manufacturers will put in overly broad terms into their Terms of Service to protect themselves from frivolous lawsuits very common in the US.

The issue is more when manufacturers act on it (see EA and spyware), and MS has a track record of respecting users privacy unlike many other companies like Google:

Sounds like BS to me. Dice has favoritised PS3. Nothing wrong with that, but don't lie!

I think the metacritic score has spoken. The vast majority consider this game to be a dud. Giant Bomb isn't the exception.

What do you expect, when you screw up the game that much!?

lol!

5214d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

The real solution was to NOT get rid of Itagaki. He made Ninja Gaiden what it became, instead they replaced him with a noob.

What does one expect?

Those minor tweaks ain't going to polish this turd as it's problem extends far beyond balance or lack of weapons.

I think the public has pretty much spoken... NG3 is inferior to the previous two games.

Well as smart guy like you should know being shut down due to THQ financial troubles is far from a game being bad. At least Itagaki has created some awesome games!
