... except, they weren't really fed. In their eyes, they felt robbed it seems.
***Surprise, surprise. Yet another subtle jab at the previous games.***
Why is that a jab?
It seems to me you are saying, we can't say anything bad about the previous games. Acknowledging problems is the first step towards fixing them.
I actually like that quote very much!
However, they should add ", but we do have loyalty to the Benjamins!"
@PS-Analog
I respectfully want to let you know, your site needs a face lift.
I pre-ordered from Origin store for the AT Shotgun on Xbox 360. I got nothing, turns out it was PC only, but EA forgot to tell their customers until after they sold me the game!
Talk about slap in the face from EA. It reminded me why I avoid EA like the plague. Damn you Mass Effect for being sooo freaking good!
Enough empty talk about how the issue isn't RAM, but not enough optimization and devs are lazy talk.
If it is like every one is saying then tell me how you solve the problem that Rage has with lots of texture pop-ins on the PS3 version compared to the Xbox 360 version.
How do you optimize to reach parity with other platforms on texture pop-in if you don't have enough VRAM?
If you can answer that within reason, I'm pretty sure you ...

***Every way you slice the PS3 it has exactly what gamers want. It has many diverse games not found on other consoles. It has many diverse games found on other consoles.***
Well, the PS3 doesn't have cross game chat, the experience I want and so on. It is an overall experience, not just a sliced section that benefits a zealot group. If it was that clear cut, you wouldn't see Wii or Xbox 360 selling as well as it does.

@baodeus
I agree with you.
Sony most definitely underestimated MS, with famous Ken Kutaragi quotes like:
“Microsoft shoots for the moon. Sony shoots for the sun.”
“Beating us for a short moment is like accidentally winning a point from a Shihan (Karate master), and Microsoft is still not a black belt. Just like with their operating systems, they might come out with something good around the third generation of their release.”...
How about instead of focusing my console has more games than you or it sells better, we focus on what we like... which can be a wide variety of things, not just "moar games" but the type of games we like to play and features we like to use!
@Edward75
One can twist the meaning all one wants, but it doesn't change the fact that as brand strength and awareness among consumers, Playstation, has declined and Xbox and Nintendo has increased in the last half of a decade.
Even from a lilfetime profit standpoint, the PS3 has suffered greatly. Consider that the PS1 and PS2 lifetime profit, is dwarfed by the PS3's losses alone!
Playstation/Sony might go where "no one else has&...
@Godmars290
Having diversity doesn't mean jack squat when you are the top dog as everyone will target your platform by default. Apple is probably among the most "picky" mobile platform, yet they rank above all.
That of course give you the power to bend people to your will. There is a reason why early in the Xbox 360 cycle, there was a mass influx to that platform. Because Sony wasn't friendly to their third party developers!

***7 months aint 14..........***
No it is not, but that's because you mis-interpreted the information.
MS says:
"Holding 42 percent share of current-generation console sales, Xbox 360 sold 426,000 units in February, maintaining the number-one console spot in the U.S."
Note, the "CONSOLE" spot, which excludes handheld.

***The ps3 limitations are out of the equation , now everyone can do it if they want to..***
You mean like Rage? It had massive texture pop-ins on the PS3 version compared to the Xbox 360 version (which itself was inferior to the PC version of course).
No amount of optimization will remove an inherent hardware limit. If you ain't got the RAM, you ain't got the RAM.

***Tell that to the Mechwarrior guys when they wanted to put the game on the 360 and PS3.
Likely would have sold most on the 360, yet someone on the MS side couldn't accept the idea. ***
I can't speak for what MS thought, but logic dictates that consumers only have so much money to spend. Perhaps they thought that consumers money would be better spent elsewhere on their platform as the "incentive" wasn't favo...

uh?
If it was more profitable and preferential to do F2P, why was DC Universe P2P first? It's clear that the business model didn't work after SOE tried it.
Even you acknowledge:...
Really?
MS and Nintendo (like Sony) is a company out to profit. If there is big enough incentive, they all will go to those lengths.
Profit is the single most important motivator to get people (or companies) to do things!
This is no surprise, as Sony isn't new to F2P model. DC Universe went F2P after a unsuccessful P2P launch.
It's great to hear Sony isn' just "relaxing" the rules, but making the changes permanent.
@MysticStrummer
Kinect does full body motion tracking, something that the PS Move can't at all. PS Move tracks a point in 3D space while Kinect tracks your entire body!
That is one reason why activity based games like dance is superior on Kinect.
... because you are uninformed?
First of all, the PS3 version already has trouble keeping up with the Xbox 360 version with major frame rate drops:

To top it off, the Kinect hardware is doing a lot of heavy lifting:

Maybe this is why the PS3 version doesn't have voice recognition similar to Kinect?
The PS3 version already has trouble keeping up with the Xbox 360 version without voice recognition....
I'm actually kind of opposite, as I prefer to receive a little handholding. I hate games that doesn't tell you jack squat other than a cryptic hint at best and then you walk around aimlessly until you randomly and accidentally find the goal.
I can't stand games like that so no thank you!
