Rare can do the talk, but can they walk the walk?
I would prefer streaming games if I was gonna play games on demand, but downloading and waiting 2 hours for the game to be on my hard drive, that's just too much. Until I can STREAM my games of the net I will keep buying discs, otherwise it would be expensive to be buying bigger hard drives because I need to fit more games.
But that's perhaps because my 360 is collecting dust.

You must think that Beyond3D and all other highly technical websites are also bad for your health, and that reading books, encyclopedias, watching documentaries and other sources of knowledge is "bad for your health".

The DSi is supposedly a new SKU and IT will supposedly have exclusive games; if anything nintendo is back at square 1; that's like saying "Gameboy Color just made back some terrain for the Gameboy in the fight against the game gear" or whatever, it doesn't work like that even if it's Nintendo DS 1.2. If it doesn't get exclusive games then it's pointless to buy one, but anyway it's likely that many of these were consumers that already had a DS.
Hell, it is more powerful than the Wii in some aspects, it has almost twice the RAM, it is exclusively a content on demand console and it's cheaper than a Wii. It won't be on the level of mainstream console's success, but who knows, maybe this can make a bit of money for its makers and also could be an interesting console.
Then again, I doubt it has first party support, which would be the nail in its coffin. I wish my iPhone, which I love dearly, had first party support. That w...

Not calling you a liar, I just wanna see where he might have suggested that they'd be going multiplatform. I know he has said before that they're fine by being 2nd party for now, but I'd also like to see if he has changed his attitude...
Wasn't there a SEGA fighting game a long time ago where you could cut your adversary in bits with a chainsaw? Anyway I hope no game like that ever wins GOTY because that's almost like cheating. I mean, appealing to people's desire to be visceral in order to win GOTY is like when girls sleep with the commitee to win the prom queen award. Sure, they f*** great, but that shouldn't blind our judgment.

I take that as an insult to many better experiences, including Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fable, Metal Gear Solid 4, GTA4, Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, Mario Galaxy, Oblivion and Twilight Princess. But it was too short. I mean seriously, I was expecting another 8 dungeons in the submerged Hyrule. Instead I only got disappointment. The final battle was a joke too. And I would have rather had Twilight Princess instead of WW. Besides, WindWaker goes more hand in hand with the Wii... "Kiddy" graphics style, casual oriented and using the Wiimote to move the Wind Waker makes sense.

As much as we love Zelda, there's never gonna be a next-gen zelda, because by the time a supposedly next-gen zelda arrives by today's standards, it won't be next-gen anymore. Nintendo has thrown the towel and decided they're not gonna raise the bar anymore in terms technology. We're probably gonna see a Zelda looking as good as Killzone in 10 years, but in 10 years we're gonna be playing with Crysis 4 graphics (now imagine that) on our PCs.

If by the best you mean the most overrated, then I totally agree. However, its gameplay and storyline are as generic as a FPS can get. If Goldeneye was remade to have at least 8 person Co-op and 60 person multiplayer then it would be the best FPS ever. There are other FPS in the market that do approximate to that though.
Otherwise it would be too expensive for Sony because they'd have to pay their own devs the money they deserve for each copy sold. Also, the numbers would artificially rise as for each PS3 sold there would be one of these games sold even though those games might not have sold that much; would you imagine Wii Sports, Wii play or Wii Fit selling if they weren't bundled with hardware? They'd sell very little. However, Nintendo doesn't have to pay that much to their own devs anyway since these are...
