Drop it somewhere between july and september, I'm sure that by then you'll have the costs figured out, or perhaps you'll be able to release a 20GB PS3 with no WiFi @ 299.99 relatively soon before you're able to drop the price on the main model(s). Release FULL PS2 BC for PS3 very soon, that'll definitely make the PS3 more appealing.

Ninja Blade: From Software has sucked as of late.
Halo Wars: While the Age of Empires series rocks, Halo Wars pales in comparison to StarCraft 2 from wherever you look at it. Its only advantage is that it launches earlier (big deal). Also, great devs have had bad luck this gen, so this could become the next Silicon Knights/Free Radical/Factor 5.

First, sony already did, twice. Second, it took Sony 10 years with PSOne and almost 9 years with PS2 and counting. PS3 is barely 2 years old, and PSP is 4 and still could be a long way to go. I hate ignorance.
BTW, since when do you have to be market leader to be successful? Nintendo did well with N64 and good enough with the Gamecube.

Only one of these games is new IP and it flopped by next-generation standards in terms of sales. As good as it is (No More Heroes), people don't want that on Wii, they just want shovelware, at least your typical wii owner. Which is why you rarely see good games on the Wii that aren't made by Nintendo.

On the other hand, the 360 is pretty much being given away in Japan and still being bundled. Microsoft doesn't give a sh1t about profitability in Japan. The sad thing is that they don't even trust their own products, they know their own products are garbage so they have to sell them at a discount.

They didn't need to do *much* better, as long as the next year is better than this one. The problem will be if Sony starts to sell less. But again, they can always rely on Microsoft-like tactics, drop prices everywhere, hurt profitability but increase their sales numbers to surpass targets and claim it was all about their skill as great product designers instead of cheap product advertisers.

Anyway, it's funny you mention that GTA4 was being "held back" by PS3, "360 man", since you conveniently omit the fact that DVD9 held the game back, as both of the Houser brothers (the producers of GTAIV) said. Furthermore, you have no place complaining about GTAIV being "delayed", considering Rockstar pretty much did Microsoft a favor by launching it day and date with the PS3 version.
