"Jak and [D]a[x]ter FTW?"

Jak & Daxter are likely candidates since Naughty Dog (and Sony) still owns the IP. Crash is under Activision so it is entirely up to Activision what is done with Crash Bandicoot.

However, we all have seen Naughty Dog's history going all the way back to Crash Bandicoot on the PS1. They are not very likely to reboot or bring back an old IP. Once Naughty Dog has run their course with certa...

Sony would have had more control than Nintendo wanted at that time, but Nintendo was pretty draconian during the 8bit and 16bit era. Their "Nintendo Seal of Approval" was glorified censorship.

In a very Japanese Sony's eyes at the time, Nintendo's actions to back out of the deal the way they did was a high form of dishonor (remember Japanese companies here) and essentially became an act of war. This is why they were such aggressive competition with the first...

Another tip, if possible with your router DMZ your system. DMZ, Demilitarized Zone, is on many routers and what it does is forward all traffic by default to a set device first. In the simplest terms this usually reduces your NAT type from NAT3 to NAT2 or NAT1 (depending on the router) and can also bump up your speeds by lowering latency from the router (the router isn't taking any extra time to "route" traffic to your system).

Also, NEVER use wireless if at all ...

That's results not individual active searches. Search engines sometimes publish their top most searched terms (sometimes with a quantitative value too) each quarter or yearly.

Like mentioned above:
1) The article is flamebait
2) Bing has a bias as it is owned by Microsoft
3) Most of the "numbers" are based on older quarters
4) How much something is searched is an indicator of popularity, but that does not reveal whether it is for ...

@LightofDarkness

PC games still have minimum graphics requirements and there is STILL not 100% a guarantee whether the game will run without a hitch and what the quality will be like if you are at the minimum (most likely crap).

PC enthusiasts can try and defend it all they want, but PC's have massive cons over consoles that don't make it worth the while for the pros and can become money pits if you are not careful.

Consoles give you ...

Most of my strange coins on all 3 of my characters have actually come from rare engrams. I've also gotten tons of Motes of Light the same way. I was actually kind of bummed every time this happened because I was trying to hoard up rare weapons to dismantle for Weapon Parts for upgrading (Rares yield 2+ parts per dismantle depending on Primary, Secondary, Heavy and how far up they've been leveled [XP earned] or upgraded [glimmer or material actually spent]).

I've a...

DriveClub is meant to be an arcade racer and not a simulation racer like Gran Turismo. The realism in DriveClub will be skewed so that the game retains it pick up and play fun factor, so while some things will be accurate others may be "glamorized" or "tweaked".

Your argument for Gran Turismo is justified, just not for DriveClub. Luckily for you Gran Turismo is a constantly evolving beast with each major game release and its creat...

The Creed games have ALWAYS had platforming issues. For some reason they litter the environment with objects that just screw the living piss out of the free-running fluidity.

That said, Unity was a steaming pile of glitchy poo in comparison to Rogue and FarCry 4 which launched at the same time.

Clearly this is a case of the least advertised being the better of the games. For some odd reason Ubi (or Microsoft or whoever foot the ad bill) put all their resource...

For console users at least, none of the issues have been completely game breaking. Online services need to be improved, but this doesn't completely halt game progression.

On the PC end many have had trouble progressing only to have the game constantly crash out on them -- having played my fair share of PC games, "crash outs" come with the territory. Bioshock Infinite crashed on me CONSTANTLY until a good beta AMD driver came out that reduced the crashes to maybe...

The secret is good 1st AND 3rd party support and having a damn clear message with your console.

Sony has always had a diverse and talented set of first party games and studios. They have also been very friendly with and drawn in many 3rd party developers (some to the point of becoming 2nd party).

Nintendo is good with their first party offerings, but have never ceased to alienate 3rd parties shortly into each of their generations.

Microsoft i...

I'm wondering if manual cloud saves on the PS3 count toward the limit, but not the auto PS4 ones. All saves on the PS4 automatically upload if you have an active Plus subscription and don't ask to upload like PS3 games.

Also, most game saves are relatively small. LittleBigPlanet actually has small game saves, but the additional game data is huge. I can only see custom levels in LittleBigPlanet adding up to have the large save size described, bu...

Exactly. There is a pretty vocal crowd of "Destiny is crap, I'm bored", but frankly lots of people are still playing the game regardless of what they are saying.

Most of the people who have burned out on Destiny have already put in over 100 hours. How the freaking hell can you say "um...I'm bored with Destiny there is nothing to do..." when you've put in 100 hours?! I really think you've got your money's worth by that point.

"Besides, occasional dipping framerate, I've run into no real glitch issues on the PS4. I've played it every night since launch and have played many co-op missions. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones."

The only [irritating] problems I have had are with the damn companion app. It has reset twice on me and never reliably syncs with the game to allow me to open the Nomad chests and play the extra Nomad missions.

I have experienced the game s...

There is something to add to this though and keep in mind. Sony has the ability to be a content provider (Sony Pictures and Sony Television) for their own service. On top of that Sony is a large enough movie and TV studio that they could convince fellow content providers such as Time Warner, Universal, etc. to provide content on their service at little cost compared to what they charge standard television providers such as Cox, Comcast, DirectTV, etc.

Microsoft is at the whim...

Trevor's character can be jarring sometimes, but he was written intentionally to be that way.

Sometimes it's satirical and other times it can be uncomfortable, but in the end it is just a game and if you are the type of person that takes everything too seriously, maybe you just need to find another medium to fill you time with.

Usually. It is a separate file download though, but starts downloading once the initial portion need to start the game installs.

Is it just me or are Day 1 patches becoming more and more common?

Are devs and publishers just pushing deadlines so hard they need to release a broken game to the presses to only quickly patch their screw ups on launch day?

Or is this a ploy so that those who get their hands on the game early and break street dates ...

F$&*ing finally. My main account had been boned on bounties because I have two exotic bounties taking up space that take some time to complete because they require PvP actions (one of them is for Thorn).

Yep. Also, I'm pretty sure any animations are paused once outside the XMB/Main Menu meaning no processing power is being used on an animation you are not seeing.

Edit: Just installed it...It's borderline creepy.

It was more extreme on AMD GPUs (which both the XB1 and PS4 are using) since the game was optimized and developed around Nvidia's tech. It is still bad coding though; they have only themselves to blame.

Silent PC Review is good if you are making an air cooled system or HTPC that you want to be quiet. They do noise tests and reviews on fans, cases, radiators, etc. to help you decide what components to buy.
