I don't know how the Xbox One's HDMI-CEC works, but with my PS4 and PS3 if they turn themselves on for updates or to check for available downloads or (in the PS4's case) for remote play my AV receiver and TV remain unaffected. If they are off they stay off, if they are on a different input or channel, they stay on that input or channel.
The ONLY time my PS3 has been turned on in the night and switched the inputs is when one of our cats walk...
Eagles...Far Cry 4's way of saying "You have too much health, let me fix that for you...". Seriously, eagles are the only reason I carry 12-20 green leaves and maxed med kits (each kit is 2 green to make and are auto created if you have leaves in reserve). Eagles are a-holes.
That said, for me elephants have completely balanced the d-bag-ness of eagles in the game. Elephants are just pure fun as weapons - completely unstoppable.
The problem is they brought gender into it by calling it a Women's Only Tournament. Another problem is that in today's society, gender is not Male/Female nor is sexuality Straight/Gay.
It's not a line where someone is one or the other. It's more like a vast field where a person identifies with being straight/gay/bi and male/female and they can fall anywhere in between all of those completely independent of what they are physically.
I greatly r...
It's good to have multiple games you are working on to prevent from being burned out. I don't know how much time you put in, but I usually run about 3-4 hours tops per day on my gaming sessions. I just have less free time and motivation compared to when I was around 20.
I have had Far Cry 4 (fun BTW, I hope you have fun with it as well), Unity (done...finished the DLC a couple weeks ago), and Shadows of Mordor to divert my attention from Destiny every once and a while...
Seeing as the Raid on Hard in your screen shot is listing enemy levels as 35, than 35 is most likely the light level cap, though individual armor may go just a bit higher in light.
But you never know until it actually releases. Maybe they will allow overleveling to make Raid Hard easier for those willing to grind it out. I know that personally I overleveled every story mission by at least 2 levels to make them less frustrating (some missions I was WAY beyond 2 levels above). ...
As far as his video it looks like he edited out the cutscenes. As far as the PS3 version I don't know if the cutscenes are ever skippable. Most games with completion timers do not count the cutscenes against you anyway.
Speedrunners also play two ways:
Glitch-free rules - you play 100% legit and don't take advantage of any glitches or loopholes to save time.
Anything goes - you take advantage of every single glitch and loophole to shave every last seco...
Most of the games they listed have on going stories spread over multiple games that (if you haven't played an earlier game) can cause confusion because they reference things they assume you already know. This is totally understandable and anyone with half a brain jumping into the middle of a multi-game series will use a wiki to catch them up without needing to jump into previous games directly.
Jak & Daxter is the biggest WTF on the list just because of all the series...
I used to speedrun Code Veronica X (PS2) and RE3 (PS1) back in the day and from what I can remember of the first RE (I had Directors Cut on the PS1) 3 hours is more than doable if you know where to go, what to pick up and what can be avoided. The only issue is the occasional boss fight that is unavoidable, but after 3-4 play-throughs of ANY RE game, you get used to the boss phases and know how to quickly dispatch them.
Gjallahorn is overpowered (once you get the multi-rocket perk), but plenty of people have had no trouble getting it. Hell some people have gotten 5 or six of them from Legendary/Exotic engrams and as drops from the Atheon boss fight (even on Normal).
Icebreaker isn't that overpowered, it just has a insanely useful perk to regen its own ammo. The regen speed is enough to balance the weapon out to prevent people from spamming it.
Not that it seems to do anything, but clicking the site name under the "Read Full Story" link lets you vote for the quality of the site and story. Avoiding the feature because it "never works" doesn't help it working - you need to use it first (it's better to try and it not work than not and it is actually being used, but no one is participating for it to work).
If you are on a desktop you can take advantage of addons like AdBlock (Firefox/Chrome) ...
It's a race then... Who goes first, Capcom or Sega? /s
Seriously though, both companies are in rough positions and oddly enough both make popular arcade games and are pretty cemented into the arcade market. Home consoles have taken away the arcade market of the 80's but arcades still exist and have demand for titles from Sega and Capcom. It would be a sad day to see either company go under.
But they're also feeding scalpers. People are buying up Amiibos and scalping them far beyond what they are worth. It's a double edged sword, unless Nintendo constantly re-releases common Amiibos to remove arbitrary rarity and kill off the scalpers reasons for buying all these things up.
There is also the difference that Skylanders and Infinity REQUIRE the figurines for the game to even function, the Amiibos are completely tertiary to the games they are compatible with...
@King
You are assuming everyone is paying for their MP3s. For people still buying CD's they are ripping them to MP3. There is a fair share of people getting music via digital such as iTunes and ripping DRM if it exists out. Lastly there is the group who torrents everything (we all know they exist and may even be using this site right now).
Spotify has its benefits and in this case versus Music Unlimited it (1) frees up Sony from having to manage one more ...
With Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess, Windwaker, and Skyward Sword established that all the games are essentially in the same universe just at different times and the characters are reincarnations of their ancestors with the individual pieces of the Triforce being passed along to later generations and becoming "active" when Ganon (and his Triforce piece of Power) becomes active/reincarnates/resurrects .
In the case of Windwaker, the Hyrule of Ocarina was complete...
The Metal Gear Solid database that was on the PS3 (it released alongside MGS4) is a really good recap. The only problem though (other than having to have a completed MGS4 save for its related entries to show up) is that the timeline established in the database conflicts with the timeline of events in Metal Gear 1 & 2. Kojima could be working toward erasing MG1&2 with Metal Gear Solid 5 (or subsequent games) and thus correct the conflicts.
For those with a PS3, I think...
The resurrection of the Sunsinger sub-class can be an ass saver. Some think it causes Warlocks to be cocky, but as a Warlock user myself it is not to be cocky it is for the RARE (or common depending on the situation) I need to revive someone in a VERY risky area.
I can usually get the revive quick enough for them to run to safety after reviving, but not for me to get out of there as well. Resurrection allows me a safety net to revive after and run away to a safe zone. I don...
If there is an option for a Season Pass and it is reasonably priced...fine, otherwise keep the DLC I'll live with the core content. I might pick this game up as I haven't played a DOA since Ultimate on the Xbox (the first one). Soul Calibur kind of took over my attention, though I passed up the last one.
Husk of the Pit is meant to look nondescript so people pass it up without realizing what it can become. It starts out really crappy, becomes a decent Legendary with the first upgrade, and a nice Exotic with the final step.
At the very least it is a cheap and easy Legendary to get. Exotic requires Crota Hard and by the article above, a lot of Crota Hard if the RNG bites you.
Loot caves are done. There is not really ANY spawn spots less than 10-20 seconds, most much higher. You can farm chests on different planets (there are plenty of videos for farming circles) that every 3-5 will give you blues. Enough blues you will get an occasional Legendary.
You are ALWAYS best off doing bounties and patrol missions to raise your Vanguard rank. Every time your Vanguard or Faction rank goes up past rank 3 you get a Legendary care package (same goes for the Cr...
