The only issue is there is a stupidly high chance you cannot equip or buy ANY of the new weapons associated with the content.
You are forced to use the Guillotine gun in one of the missions, so at least you get to try it out. Once you unlock the Eagle of Suger there is a work around to getting it equipped. It has the same power as the Sword of Eden, but [Upgraded] it has a 1/3 chance to blind surrounding enemies when you strike someone with it (it's like a mini-stun grena...
Economics. It was already economical to up the resolution and textures for a PS4/XBO port for the last two games. Borderlands being a much older game (possibly running on an older platform/engine that doesn't upgrade well to the PS4/XBO) just didn't justify spending the resources to port the game.
I still plan on getting this myself as the only experience I have had with Borderlands is Borderlands 2 on my Vita, which is awkward for me to play because of the weird cont...
As I've said before, they'd need to redo everything regarding MG1&2 because the Solid games have messed up MG1&2's established timeline. Maybe that is where Kojima is heading to correct his mistakes and make everything canon again.
As far as Solid Snake is concerned, I really think we'll see the involvement of the Les Terrible Infants project meaning the appearance of Solid, Liquid, and Solidus (at least young versions of them).
How old are you? This was meant to look like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D, a la early 90s. In the early 90s this was cutting edge 3D. This was a project of nostalgia for the old pseudo-3D titles (the environments were 3D spaces, but used multiple 2D sprites).
I disagree with NPCs (at least in certain areas) because they would be completely out of place and weird. Think about how out of place an NPC would be just standing next to the wall in the middle of a warzone completely oblivious to the hostile enemies? Yeah, weird and out of place. Maybe have them in the connecting corridors between zones, but not in the zones themselves. The beacons are fine, though I wish they refreshed a little faster.
I do agree on the RNG system. It is ...
@Quicktim3
The DualShocks (3 & 4) use Lithium Ion batteries. NiCads are the types that have issues with overcharging and memory issues.
Lithium batteries (at least modern ones) cannot overcharge as they incorporate circuitry to stop the charging to prolong the life of the battery. What kills Lithium batteries (and any rechargeable) is corrosion. No battery is perfectly sealed and air and moisture work their way in and cause corrosion on the individual &qu...
Be careful, Jak II will make you snap your Vita in half, especially on the hero mode play through. The Forest mission, Sewer mission and one of the two turret missions are the hardest missions of all the Jak games. With unlimited ammo on the second play through everything mentioned is easier EXCEPT the turret missions; NONE of the cheat unlocks help on those missions and the flying enemies are twice as hard to kill (go for the head or their rocket packs).
The hardest thing in...
@kayoss
I'm with you. I completely suck in the Crucible. It's probably best to stick with the team CTF mode (can't remember the exact name right now) or just deal with sucking really bad until you can really get used to the layout of the maps.
I really think map knowledge is the key to any multiplayer FPS. In many games knowing where pickups spawn greatly helps - in Destiny's case it is knowing where the Secondary and Heavy ammo spawn points a...
In a similar vein and also not mentioned are the Layton games.

The "New" 3DS is appearing to be marketed to previous 3DS owners as an upgrade, hence the nixing of the adapter. It uses the same adapter to charge that the previous 3DS does. It's ludicrous because it saves Nintendo maybe $10 in component cost, but inconveniences new owners as they have to buy the charger separately.
As far as differences, the major differences are first a more powerful processor that allows the system to boot and run ...
It's still ludicrous that they didn't include an AC adapter or switch the charging port to a common USB port. Also just adding "New" in front isn't going to help confusion amongst uninformed customers. I could only guess the number of unknowing parents that are going to purchase the wrong system for their children because they didn't check for the "New" in the corner. Luckily, there are few games that will require the "NEW" 3DS and those with an o...
VGChartz numbers are always "hearsay". Their margin of error for each week and month is always off by varying margins of error. Sometimes they can be ±2% error, other times they can be way off with over ±10%. They are consistently inconsistent.
VGCharts does usually "correct" their numbers once each companies fiscal reports are released to the public, but you always run into the ship/sold issue because of how each company reports their figures. S...
@Sillicur
The biggest drops to production cost and what allows slimmer consoles to be made is when the processors and gpus (in the PS4 and XBO case they are on the same die, referred to as an APU) are manufactured on smaller scales. Tertiary components (RAM, IO, ports, etc.) don't make as big of a dent (RAM can make a dent if the RAM being used is relatively new and still expensive to manufacture; over time this comes down; GDDR5 and DDR3 are not new by any means, though)...
I wish they'd let you choose between rain OR snow (maybe a season option). I understand it is location based, but some of the locations (real world) can get either type depending on the season.
Question, wasn't The Last of Us 30FPS for Single Player and 60FPS for Multiplayer?
I can understand in some games wanting the higher frame rate to reduce lag between input and what is seen on screen. Frame dips in a high action game can have jarring effects.
However, in slower placed single player, as long as there is a solid 30FPS locked I don't see an issue. You are not under pressure in Single player like you are in Multi. This is all really irrele...
Sony will refund (for literally no reason) where required by law. Unfortunately, for most of the US states Sony has a zero refund policy on digital purchases. I think there are a handful of states (2-3) that force Sony to refund, even on digital.
I think the EU has more strict laws regarding this, so most European countries also force Sony to allow refunds.
The Solid series of games screwed up the original timeline presented in the pre-Solid games, so much so the pre-Solid games are no longer canon. Specifically MGS3 and Peace Walker voided the pre-Solid games as it moved some events around that if the pre-Solid games were canon there would be timeline conflicts.
Also, Big Boss (Naked Snake) did have a double, or more a perfect clone. Solidus was one of the clones of Big Boss that was aged prematurely to look identical to Big Bo...
It takes place between the end of the final sequence and the final closing cutscene of the game (which takes place quite a while after the final mission, 8-10 years).
I still have yet to play it because it was still downloading last night. One of the more exciting things I'm waiting to try out is the Guillotine guns which are essentially hand cannons combined with an axe.
They mention No Land Beyond as being crappy for PvE, but good in PvP...well...duh?!!! It's an Exotic Sniper Rifle that is one of the few secondary weapon types that actually count as a Primary. Of course this is good in PvP...in PvP you need to hunt Secondary and Heavy ammo every time you respawn, you are always given a good supply of Primary ammo (this is where the Secondaries as Primaries shine).
I think the others are Vex Mythoclast (Fusion Rifle) and Universal Remote ...
I got two without trying. One was from one of the expansion's story missions, the other was just from patrolling Earth.
The best place to farm the sword wielders is on Earth in the first area near the three level 18 Hive underground. A sword wielder spawns here probably every 45 minutes or so (not exact, but often enough). This is where I go to complete any bounty related to killing Hive Majors/Ultras/Enemies and kills using the sword. If you are doing the bounty that inv...
