Fact is no matter the changes, people will STILL find something to complain about. Some of the complaints about Destiny are warranted, but not all of them. Frankly, I'm for a weighted or merit based RNG. However, I'm against more accounts IF it will only make "muling" worse, because then Bungie will have less reason to lessen the RNG "sting" since people would have more roll chances on the Raids and other weekly and daily activities. I'd imagine (glitches aside) VoG Normal would be the best place now for anyone to attempt this since the level cap is so far beyond VoG's lowest required level. The only parts I can see people dieing on ruining the trophy is the disappearing platforms part or goofing up around the Gorgons (although if everyone was 30+ on VoG Normal, they'd probably be able to easily kill every Gorgon).

The Souls games had classes of weapons and yes when you get right down to it, despite the thousands of combinations and upgrades, most Souls players stick with less than a dozen specific weapons. In Demon's Souls I'm a fan of the Shield + Winged Spear Combo. Towards the end of Demon's Souls I was using the magic version of the Winged Spear (Moon/Crescent? Winged Spear) and a fully upgraded Sticky Longbow alternating shields where needed (for Fire or Magic Protection).
It would be nice if Apple opened up their AirPlay/HomeSharing to other devices (at least for music). Then I would be able to leave iTunes open on one of my machines and stream to my consoles. If Apple had embraced DLNA within iTunes this would be a non-issue, but DLNA directly competes with their AirPlay/HomeSharing idea of home network content delivery.
I'll give Reddit a try then if it is working well for you. The DestinyTracker LFG, while nicely featured, has been pretty useless.
At least you have a Raid group. I sat on the LFG for half an hour last night...nothing. I'm more than high enough level for VoG Hard and CE Normal. I would stave off Crota until I had a few more good weapons, but I'm plenty good for VoG. I just have a real crappy schedule to have free time for the Raids.

That's because 90% of Destiny's story is buried in the Grimoire cards. If you read some of them there is a lot of backstory and information there, but many people either do not have access to or care to load up the Bungie website or the Destiny Companion app to "read up".

Turned based RPGs are loosing favor to the faster paced action of Pseudo-turn based Action RPGs and full action RPGs. With FFXV I can REALLY tell this is made by the same team that made Kingdom Hearts - it has the same exact action based game play, though greatly expanded upon.

I think after the bookoo numbers of Metal of Honor games in the early 00's, people have lost interest in the WW2 era. Sci-Fi has pretty much taken over the FPS genre lately as there is more freedom of content and story.

Note only MGS2, MGS3, and MGS:PW have HD Remakes. MGS4 is just a repackage including the Trophy patch. MGS1 is a PSOneClassic download and MG1 and MG2 are MSX emulated versions with no upgrades.
That is the only way to solo either of the Raids. Doing them legitimately needs a minimum of two (VERY SKILLED) players to finish. You still need three to get into the Vault of Glass, but after that two very skilled players could still finish the Vault.
Matchmaking would be a horrible idea without mics. Communication is a must for the Raids, even if everyone already knows what to do ahead of time, you still need to coordinate into 2-3man teams and 3-2man teams at varying points - this is hard to do without audio cues.

I been playing Destiny since the Alpha (got invited through my PS+ account by Bungie/Sony; the Alpha got me into the Beta as well, no preorder needed). I am obviously talking about loot caves as they are NOW and engram drops as they are NOW. As far as the Rarity of Legendary Engrams and Exotic Engrams I was referring to them SOLELY from drops (aka loot cave methods).

You must be getting greens as enemy drops from Strikes, because the Strike playlists with Cryptarch rewards give you Blue [Rare] or higher [Legendary/Exotic] guaranteed. I know, because I've gotten a crap ton of Blues this way.

Correction, MOST weapons are Solar damage, not just your weapons. Solar weapons out rank Void and Arc weapons almost 2:1, meaning for just about every uniquely Void and Arc weapon there are 2 uniquely Solar weapons.
If you look at ONLY weapons obtained from the Raids and all the Exotics, Void weapons are a bloody rarity compared to Arc and Solar and Solar still edges out Arc by a few weapons.
