Yes, but the bigger problem is parents' blatant disregard for the game rating systems (ESRB, PEGI, etc.) until AFTER they see their kid playing the violent and/or graphic game. Then the parents get all up in arms against the developers and publishers of such games when in the end the ONLY person to blame is themselves.

The thing is, just like the movie rating systems, the game rating systems are meant to serve as guidelines to help parents decide what is appropriate for t...

He's referring to attempts. You can also replay raids as much as you want, but you only earn rewards/drops from them once per week per character per difficulty (hard/normal).

Depending on how you advertise yourself on the LFG depends on who you'll get matched with. I don't know which system you are on, but the times I've had to resort to using the LFG for the nightfall or a raid I have gotten into some pretty friendly groups. It may be because I only target people with mics and the people I end up with are (1) willing to share strategies (2) willing to listen to new ones as well.

I can tell you if you are attempting a lvl 30 Raid with ...

I agree and disagree (to both sides of the argument). I can see where Bungie is coming from because I have first hand experienced terrible lvl 28 Strikes through matchmaking because people didn't have mics or just didn't communicate resulting in a lot of wipes and checkpoints that could have easily been avoided. To have to deal with this on a raid would make me pull my hair out. A 15-20 minute strike taking an hour (due to "newbs") is one thing, but for a 1 hour long raid it...

@Aboutthetruth

The reason for all the disagrees? You are just blowing out numbers while completely missing the point to why GDDR5 is faster than DDR3, despite ESRAM.

DDR3 cannot READ AND WRITE at the same time. You can only have one of these happen per clock cycle. GDDR5 on the other hand supports READs AND WRITEs during the same clocks. Taking this into account with your so called numbers completely changes everything.

Also ESRAM is and will...

@IrishSt0ner and Eddie20101

More correctly the reason why the PS4 has a more powerful GPU is because of Microsoft's RAM choice. Microsoft chose cheaper DDR3 memory over GDDR5 and as a result needed to implement ESRAM to pick up some slack in the speed department. Had Sony stuck with 4GB of GDDR5 like originally rumored, Microsoft would have still had an advantage with RAM capacity despite a slightly weaker GPU. However, Sony got lucky and GDDR5 prices came down enough at ...

PS4 digital games download in varied increments. The parts can vary from 1GB up to 8GB, but usually enough is downloaded to be able to start the game while the rest background downloads. Remember the PS4 also has a dedicated chip for running background downloads (the same chip utilized for share play and remote play). Also, for pre-ordered digital games' pre-loading starts 1-2 days before release allowing the game to be downloaded and installed fully by release ...

Icebreaker can be used to respawn ammo too. If you run out of ammo on your secondary, just switch to Icebreaker, let it charge, switch back, and you'll receive ammo for your secondary equivalent to 6 Icebreaker sniper rifle rounds.

Alternatively, if you don't have Icebreaker you can burn ALL of your ammo. If you have no ammo in ANY of your weapon slots, the game spawns starting quantities of ammo in your guns after about 20-30 seconds - it's a safety built into th...

At over 30GB on average per game I filled my PS4's stock 500GB pretty fast. Being in computer repair for a living, popping in and formatting a larger hard drive was nothing foreign for me, so I upgraded my PS4 to a 1TB/8GB hybrid drive for well under $100 doubling my space. As a bonus I doubled my PS3's space (have been using a 256GB SSD that I used to replace the stock 250GB drive - 1st gen slim) with the PS4's drive and then I just used the 256GB SSD in an old laptop.

If you have the Dark Below, finishing the Urn of Sacrifice mini-quest for Eris (HARD at 28, but not impossible) rewards you with class specific gauntlets that start at 24 light and upgrade to 33.

Since you aren't playing the Crucible (neither did I) you'll need to do the following:

If you aren't quite to 28, keep doing all the PvE bounties (and even what Eris bounties you can - just press circle on the purple one that starts to story quest line to...

@RosweeSon

The WiiU is essentially a failure. It was on the market longer and its lifetime sales were surpassed in a few months by both the Xbox One and PS4. It's not a VirtualBoy failure by any means, but Nintendo should be doing better than they are after 2 years - hence them giving into the mobile market (this has more to do with gaming culture in Japan moving from home consoles to mobile gaming resulting in abysmal WiiU sales).

Regarding the Xbox One,...

It depends on what your doing. Things really open up and become easier once you get through the 28-30 grind. Being able to immediately do the heroic strikes at 30 (Very Hard) and not having issues with the nightfall are game changers. Also, House of Wolves will move the level cap even higher, meaning 31-32 will be the old 26-28; the nightfall and heroics will get bumped in levels to match - this means the game will REALLY suck for those without either DLC as they'll be locked out of MANY ...

Personally I never bought into Destiny for the hype. I just truly liked what I played in the Alpha and Beta. I actually had zero interest in pre-ordering Destiny until after the Alpha (got me on the fence) and Beta (got me to pre-order).

To this day, Destiny is still my go to game. I have Shadows of Mordor and FarCry 4 to still finish up, but I just enjoy playing Destiny more. Maybe it is because of what Jdoki below mentions - you have sections in Destiny that just used to ki...

"If you can get through the 1-20 grind"

And the material grind to level up your alternates equipment to boost their light level. Not that any material is difficult to grind though as there are decent chest runs for each planet that not only net you material, but plenty of blue and green weapons and armor to break down for class material and weapon parts.

I'm currently blasting through the story to open all the patrols for my alternates, as well ...

If you can train up your 2nd and 3rd accounts you can run the 30 with one and the 28 with the other two and net 9+6+6 coins. That will put you at 21 (2 shy of the most expensive weapons have been offered) which you can usually fill in the missing few with rewards from blue engrams, public event completions, or if you are really lucky the nightfall (can randomly net you 9-10 strange coins, an exotic, a legendary, or ascendant materials).

If you have th...

There is only a little over 20 exotics in the entire game and when you exclude the Exotic Bounty ones and any that are exclusive to Raids, there is not much left for Xur to sell from without a few repeats (even less Exotics for different pieces of armor once you drill down to class and type).

That said, Gjallahorn, MIDA, and Universal Remote have only debuted once and Gjallahorn was removed from (default) Xur's list due to being a boss killer. With Bungie taking over cont...

It depends on the journey that it took to get the player there. Naturally anyone with anything will get better over time with practice, but not many if any games have a stats system setup that reliably reflects those players' accomplishments and hard work.

Many games prestige and leveling systems and statistics are tainted by exploits and cheats that undermine the very core of those systems. Hell, just to show how much level means nothing versus skill, I was playing Desti...

Ranking them for myself I don't like to lump together the 2D (or pseudo-3D Tactics) games with the 3D ones because it doesn't seem like a level playing field. I like to keep the old school games together and rank all the newer ones against each other.

Personally my list (best to worst - some games are interchangeable because they're about equal):
3D era
1) FFXII (I had the most fun with the battle system despite the weak story with Vaan and Penelo)...

@Kayoss

It is. I've done it myself. The trick is to stay back outside of Omnigul's room and pick off most of the "adds" until you can run in and pull off a few head shots (if you do not have Arc weapons to match the burn - Wizards and Omnigul have Solar shields, so Solar weapons, including Icebreaker will quickly take down their shields). As soon as you hear Omnigul scream, get the hell out of the room. Her scream signals more adds to flood the room from all...

From what I've seen in the matchmaking on the Weekly Heroic Strikes, not everyone uses the known effective strategies for each strike - so having these videos around and constantly fresh helps increase the chance that those inexperienced players will watch them. Yes, occasionally I get paired with someone with some sense, but most of the time (especially more often when I'm playing with my 27 Hunter and 28 Titan and am limited to the lvl24 and lvl 28 heroic strike) the people I get pa...
