id hate to see zone of enders go exclusive to the xbox 360, i for one am a huge fan, playing the first 2 on the playstation brand. i'm sure alot of other people will be disappointed aswell, not to mention the money they will miss out on in japan, where it is probably most popular.
but it could happen, anything could happen, thats what scares me.
the original xbox sold around 25 million the 360 is around 28/29 so really they have only just converted their own previous install base.
resident evil is a very stablished franchise, lets not forget the films and other followings it has.
sony need to sort out the price, the jump from ps2 to ps3 is massive. most ps2 owners i know are used to the cheap games and dont own a hdtv so the ps3 isnt looking as attractive yet.
i dont take notice of the ratings either, when i read a review i'm looking at the pros and cons section, and posibly the conclusion to see if the entire thing is worth a read.
i think co-op would take the suspense out of the game, the game does make you jump, but having someone by your side in game would just kill the atmosphere.

on topic, from what it seems Microsoft's line up is running thin this year, but here's hoping Microsoft's announce some treats for us in the coming months, but its no big deal if they dont because our ps3 line up is already looking sweet enough, the more the merrier
killzone 2 mp has problems?..... no the title is a little wrong, killzone 2 doesnt have any problems, its this writer who has the problems. i.e nitpicking the game.
no cover in mp was a good decision, i think it would've slowed down the gameplay, and i would probably never use it anyway.

its a shame resident evil 5 isn't as scarey as the first. resident evil 1 is heart pumping torture, res 5 is just a slaughter.
more like 10 zombies and you have an arsenal of weapons, its a slaughter, res evil 5 has no suspense.
i like the look of the game and its art direction but it doesnt have the suspense of the other games, its just that resident evil stopped being scary when they released 4. i enjoyed the first 2 because they scared the sh!t out of me, nowadays they throw so many infected at you its just become a slaughter, i might give it a try when the price comes down.

exactly, he says that this knee jerk reaction to the game is simply an effect of political correctness, like somehow because of the current social climate we have this feeling that we should see it as racist. when really, its not. he also makes a good point that the depiction of western colonization is also very reverent, given past events in japans history he says its very intriguing considering the game comes from japan.

a game does not instantaniouly drop resolution when action kicks in. KZ2 is a 720p 30hz game. the title is completely misleading, although it could just be a simple misunderstanding on the contributors part.
SF4 is a 630p game on ps3 they are simply comparing it to KZ2 a 720p game, and discussing the pros and cons.
