the game is pretty much confirmed to take place in 1979 or later, the gun in the image is FN FNC carbine a Belgian weapon which entered service in 1979. the inclusion of the Rhodesian ridge-back in art and of course naomi's past there leds me to believe the game takes place in the aftermath of the Rhodesian civil war. the kid is pretty much confirmed as chico.

well, sometimes i feel like the technological advances, visual bells and whistles in new games has had an opposite effect on immersion for me. I mean to say that once a game gets so detailed and 'real' whats left for the player to imagine? create? i feel an er of detatchment from the experience because my ingagement in it is minimal. simply controls with no real creative input to the universe im in.

agreed, if i open my inventory i shouldnt have to scroll though a list of things. i want a grid style bag where everything is viewable at once and i can arrange things myself (bag style, not by alphabeticle order)
