the article states that 3% of konami's earnings for last year came from the 360, where as 38% came from the ps3. Now if we look at the number of cross platform releases from konami its clear that the 360 just isn't a big earner for them, due to the fact that they almost all but 1 or 2 of their release were on both ps3 and 360.
i'm a big mgs fan, i own a ps3, and to be honest i couldn't really care less if mgs5 goes to xbox360. its irrelevant. I still get to play the game so its win, win. if it doesn't come to 360 then buy a ps3 when the price drops, that way you can play mgs4 as well.
man of the year makes some points, but i dont see how sales can be acceptable or unacceptable to a gamer. i mean what is it with fanboys and sales, do you care that much? i'm pretty sure your own eyes and your own brain give a better indication of whether is game is great or not, not how many people have bought it.
at least ps3 fanboys are talking about how good their games look instead of talking about sales and gears of war 2. which seem to be two things you guys just wont let ...

read the article, its not actually that bad, its more about the fact the ps2 is getting dropped this coming year, the title is as usual glamourised, in HHG and hydro style.

whydis, FFXIII is exclusive in japan where they will get most of their sales, why would they release dlc a year later, on the 360 when its not even coming to it in japan.

sony's games division is not in the red, ps2 and psp both sell at huge profit, as well as software which brings in millions. the ps3 however is the only red part of sony's game division, which is gettng better anyway.
EDIT: pirate's research, fortify's my point, sony's games division over the past 12 years has yielded massive profits, you cant say the same for microsoft's games division which up unitl this year as been in the red. read the numbers.
