European delays FTW!! this is going to get very complicated for devs and publishers. being from Britain myself, this spells even more delayed releases for us.
on a side note if this law had been passed earlier maybe we would've had GeoW 2 release with a playable mulitplayer. just a thought
yeah, i understand what you're saying. I just think for sony, its something of a necessity now, and i'm sure they've been planning this for awhile, what with them constantly redesigning parts in the public eye. sony needs this to make profit on the ps3.
in terms of a slim xbox, i think the xbox is selling pretty solidly. MS wouldn't want to pump even more money into redesigning the xbox (what with the rrod debacle costing enough) i think they're concentrating on the next box rath...
i think its real, it just makes sense for sony to do this.
no, we're more likely to see a ps3 slim than 360 slim at this time, sony wants to reduce the cost of ps3 production, redesigning the ps3 and making it slimmer offers massive opportunity to reduce the cost of parts from the case to removing fans. I think this rumor about ps3 slim holds weight. simply because it makes sense for sony. Remember there was the slimmed down PS3 chip board that was revealed at CES in January.
relaunching a cheaper slim ps3 at e3 with the upcoming lineup...
i don't really care.. as long as Sony keeps releasing quality title after quality title, they can stay in last because I enjoy my ps3 and the fantastic games iv played to date.
market share means nothing to me, I'm a gamer. aren't you guys?
gameplayer really has been laying some turds lately, do they ever report anything non console war related?
we all know whats feeding this Hate? Game journalism...
For the good of the company, i hope hes right. SE really needs this to deliver.
wipeout hd, platinum = one tough nut..
mayweather will win that one, no doubt.
p.s it was written, ill album
i think it boils down to trophies being a little bit more hardcore compared to achievements, which seem to be abit more geared towards casuals. trophies can break it down to show you your skills, achievements don't do that.
i agree, the article wasn't very informative though, if hed pointed out clear faults and factual failings of the trophies i would have been more interested but everything he states is just opinionated, like his sense of attachment to his gamer card and how he doesn't like the way trophies come in different flavors. this is all just subjective.
like you said hes right about them both being meaningless.
what does the ps3 being in 3rd with sales have to do with rpg's? Last time i check ps3 has some great rpg's. valkyria chronicles is probably the best jrpg of this gen so far. I like my 360 and the rpg's it has but none of them stand up to VC and i'm really looking forward to demon souls.
i dont understand why everything boils down to sales with you..
you comment doesn't make any sense.
forum post, development build, 40 lines difference, n4g is getting abit silly now. i though we put all this stuff behind us?
EDIT: there are 4 other ps3 screens which are 720p.... why did you leave that out?
i saw that same video, and jaffe hints nothing about them not wanting to sell games. he talks about creative freedom, like you say, when developing first party.
need hits much gamer.blorge?
ign wrote exactly why they they are overrated underneath each game character...
top 10 overrated gaming websites?
guess who's my number one...
im sorry but when halo 3 released in japan, what other games did Japanese gamers have to compete? ....none.
this is good news for killzone 2, the japanese market has been very busy, considering the ps3. killzone2 is competing with yakuza 3, demon souls, final fantasy complete etc.
this makes me happy.
i hope it means both.....
the thing is its not about the company sony, its about the ps2, it was too strong a console and way too profitable for action to be taken against it. the industry relied heavily on the ps2, devs, publisher and 3rd party hardware makers a like. Aswell as that the competition just didn't offer enough as an acceptable alternative for the industry.
the 360 has pulled though the rrod debacle for similar reasons, its a great console with great games (albeit not for everyone) but it cer...
