The sad thing is most reviewers of Destiny 2 gave the game high scores and now are trying to make up for it after players spoke up about what was wrong with the game. If you have to change your evaluation of a game based on what other people are saying, you are bad at your job. If you couldn't see the problems that were always there, you shouldn't be a reviewer.

Sony has been giving 3rd parties license to make collectibles for at least a decade now. Just like how Nintendo gives licenses to Jakks Pacific and K'nex to make collectibles. Sony isn't doing anything new here that they haven't been doing.

These are licensed 3rd party collectibles made by ThinkGeek while amiibos were made by Nintendo themselves. Big difference. Nobody has a problem with all the 3rd party Nintendo collectibles since a video game manufacturer isn't spending their time making them instead of making games. These also don't lock any game content behind a paywall like amiibos do.

The Wii U was a bad system and this is coming from someone who actually bought the system and supported Nintendo. The technology was inferior for a next-generation home console and the Gamepad was such a bad idea that Nintendo themselves didn't even support it in their games. The Switch is a good product and sales reflect that.

I just want players to finally admit that the problems with Destiny are the failings of Bungie and not Activision. I'm getting tired of people unable to say something negative about Bungie. I like the Detiny universe and still enjoy D2 but until Bungie becomes a better studio nothing will ever be right with Destiny.

In 2014 there were ports of Tomb Raider, Rayman Legends, Merto Redux, Sleeping Dogs, and GTA5. That is not a "crap ton." In 2018, we already are going to get ports of Dark Souls, Catherine, Assassin's Creed Rogue, Devil May Cry HD Collection and we still have 11 more months for announcements. In 2014 Sony only ported one game to the PS4 - The Last of Us Remastered. By the end of the Switch's first full year, Nintendo will have ported The Legend of Zelda BOTW, Mario Kart 8, Pokken Tournament, DKTF, Bayonetta 2, and Hyrule Warriors. I'm not sure how you can compare the 2.

You are correct about Fire Emblem Warriors and Flip Wars (I never heard of that one) so that brings it up to 10 games. Fast RMX was published by Shin'en though so it doesn't count.
Sony published 16 games for the PS4 this year (excluding VR). Nintendo published 8 games for the Switch.

If Sony couldn't figure out they should of given Knack on PS+ before the sequel released, I have no hope that they will do something smart like you suggested. I hope at least they put all the unlockable costumes as downloads in the PS Store so even after the servers shut down new players can get them.
