"Wow really? You think a guy who slaughtered millions of people (mostly his own) and started a world war is similar to Donald Trump?"
I'm sure that you were one of those carrying the signs with the Hitler mustache on Obama. For you to call someone Hitler, that is perfectly ok but for someone to the person you voted for Hitler - they are being haters.
What is amusing is that many of those countries the people used their guns to overthrow what they thought was tyrannical government and the proceeded to replace it with something much worse. How exactly do you think the governments of USSR, Cuba, and China come to be how they are? But hey, keep that 2nd Amendment dream alive even though it is the 1st Amendment that protects us from tyranny and that is why our nation's founders made it first.
"heavily regulated gun control areas have the most gun deaths"
Hawaii and Massachusetts have the most restrictive gun laws in the country and they have the least amount of gun deaths per population. States like Alabama and Louisiana have the least regulated gun control and lead the country in gun deaths per population. But I am sure facts are not that important to you and you'll bring up something like Chicago or some other parroted talking point. For the r...
@Neonridr
You're saying that the item that Nintendo sells for $89.99 is just a piece of plastic that doesn't do anything? Some defense there.
It is applicable here in the size comparison since the article compared a DOCKED Switch to a PS4 Pro.

Here is an article comparing the graph...
This is a response to your later post saying "i don't think remasters or whatnot are bad, but when it's the only content that a console has (and that was the case early this gen), well, then there's a problem."
Are you serious?!!! Do you really think that nobody remembers the games that came out in 2014?
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Watch Dogs
Destiny
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
Alien: Isolation
...
Sounds like they should of included the worker AI from Age of Empires 2.
@Neonridr
You mean like Skyward Sword selling 4 million with a Wii install base of 100 million? Metroid 3 selling less than 2 million? Xenoblade Chronicles selling 1 million? You guys always like to bring up attach rates and the truth is that most Nintendo first party games do not sell any better than Sony or Microsoft exclusives. Nintendo is dominated by casuals who mostly just buy Mario the same way many people buy a PS4 or XBox to just play Call of Duty. The differe...
Both of you don't like them being compared yet when a sales report comes out that Switch is in the top spot you cannot shut up about it. You cannot have it both ways. If they are not comparable, then each systems sales are irrelevant to each other. If you want to compare sales, then you have to accept that everything else is open for comparison.
@DJK1NG_Gaming
Everyone knows you are bad at numbers but 10x the size?! Really? You think that the PS4 Pro is th...
Because the PS4 Pro was released in 2016 and the Switch was released in 2017. You know things are bad in technology when you need something to be compared to a device that came out 4 years earlier.
You must not be too familiar with amiibos if you think Metroid and Wolf Link are the only ones that lock content behind paywalls. Just off the top of my head here are some additional ones I can name -
Splatoon had challenge modes locked by amiibo
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker had hide-and-seek mode locked
Yoshi's Wooly World had double Yoshi locked
Star Fox had the Black Arwing mode locked
Shovel Knight had coop multiplayer locked
...
@ Neonridr
You said that "amiibos look good and do something else" and then said that not all amiibos have game content. You cannot have it both ways. Either they do something or they don't and if it is the later than Totaku not doing anything shouldn't be a negative in your book.
As for the DLC, that was the argument that fanboys made to justify why amiibo were so great and that was how DLC should be done. Except none of it was DLC, ...
I can't wait until these people see all the upcoming non-Sony Totaku figures listed in Gamestop's database. Will they say they were wrong and that Sony isn't trying to jump on some "lucrative amiibo train" and instead these are just more licensed figures that we have been seeing since Pac-Man? Of course not. Apparently to fanboys, Nintendo invented both toys-to-life as well as collectible figures and if a company isn't locking a new difficulty mode behind a piece ...
Horizon CE was $120 in the US. The God of War one is still pricey but if Gentle Giant does a statue that is as good as the Aloy statue it will be worth it in my opinion.
Also, Best Buy just listed the CE so you can get it for 20% off there.
"That's right: rather than something new and exciting, they are relying on a port of a game series that pretty much every gamer on N4G already owns on other consoles." Seems like you were against ports but now seem to love Skyrim, Doom, and Dark Souls being ported to a Nintendo console. Such a fanboy hypocrite.

There were 5. 5 ports released in 2014 by third parties for the PS4 and Xbox One. Definitely not the flood that certain people like to make it out to be. Nintendo already has 6 first/second party ports on or announced for the Switch plus all of the third party ports.
Not sure how anyone but fanboys can defend the $60 price for Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. It released at $50 for the Wii U and currently has a MSRP of $20 and Nintendo is now trying to sell it for $60 on the Switch. That is insane.
@Kun_ADR
Again, Sony isn't making these so you cannot compare them to amiibo which are made directly by Nintendo. Nobody was against collectibles being made of Nintendo IPs, they were against Nintendo making toys instead of video games. They were against Nintendo cutting content from a game so you could unlock it by spending more money on an amiibo. They were against Nintendo announcing new amiibo instead of actually announcing new games.

Companies license their IP out so they can make money. Seems like you think Nintendo should open their own theme park instead of licensing it out to Universal. I'm sure they would make a lot of money from that theme park which would mean more games. What about cereal - should Nintendo make their own cereal? Books? Clothing? From a financial perspective, seems like you want Nintendo to do a lot of other things besides focusing on video games.
LOL, I like how when presented with facts you completely try to change your tune.
"heavily regulated gun control areas have the most gun deaths"
no, no " has more to do with the poverty levels than the gun control law"
Alaska has one of the lowest poverty rates in the country, the weakest gun control laws, the highest firearm death per population, and the highest violent crime rate. I'm sure your head is explodi...
