Heavy damage sounds like it is for the harcore gamers who wanted a real racing sim. One that makes you race properly and not play bumper cars. Light damage is for the less skilled but I remember in GT5P online if you tried cutting the track when penalties were on it would not allow you to push on the gas for around 10 seconds as a "penalty". It sounds like light damage is similar to this but instead your driving gets all whack based on what you did.
Oh and if you cr...
Agreed. I used to "rely" (used loosely) on IGN reviews to get an idea if I wanted to rent a game or not I was unsure about. Nowadays not only IGN but game reviews in general are just pish posh. The only thing I am curious about IGN review is the NBC show "Chuck". If you read those reviews it is well thought out and done right unlike their gaming reviews.
Only rumors we have heard so far is that its around $500. However we don't know if that is US or EU or what. Considering there is no shifter then it has to be a reasonable price for consumers to want it over other choices. Simply because its the "official" wheel if it is too expensive it won't sell well enough IMO.
"Before you grumble, keep in mind that it’s not clear if the $500 price actually refers to the US, EU, or Japanese regions. As noted by Shi...
I dunno kind of makes me think of Homefront honestly.
According to these guys...Coke wins. Again just speculation :)

They talk about larger/harder puzzles. Maybe, if time permits, they could make puzzles increasingly harder/longer based on difficulty. Just a thought. Other then that I absolutely loved the game and the replay ability with multiplayer and how they constantly update it for certain events. Naughty Dog is one of my fav devs for sure.
@Thegamer41
I have heard that not all the buttons work the way they should as far as mapping goes. Also Yamauchi recently stated that a new wheel is coming soon possibly called the Thrustmaster T500 RS. Since update V1.02 it was added in the controller menu options.

I myself was going to get the G27 but if this wheel finally offers ...
This guide is somewhat misleading. All of this is good advice unless you are playing hardcore mode. In HC mode the motion sensor won't help unless a spy plane is showing your radar. Flak jacket won't help regardless of grenades or claymores or even bullets. Other than that it is pretty accurate but one thing to add...NEVER run around corners as 90% of the time someone is waiting/watching it and will take you down in a second.
Damage looks fine to me...

However I have heard this is more about mechanical damage then visual.
This shows damage is definitely possible to be pretty extreme on the premium models. Down the line a patch may come out to add more damage who knows.

Passion of the Christ 2: GT5 Released
OT: Funny article and points out the obvious but so many people lack common sense and are blind to see the obviousness of things nowadays.
Sig Edition isn't available in the US. Otherwise I bet it would've sold out the like CE did. I have the CE preordered but it's the best I could get. I will admit I am a tad upset I don't get the GT exclusive cars with the GT Livery but the chromeline are cool.
Agreed but now that they stopped making games for the original Xbox and how big that thing was. I think it would make an even better paper weight...haha

The MOVE is not an upgraded Wii. Truth is the technology used on the Wii is the same as Kinect. Infrared lasers. The Wii has 6 of them to denote which way the controller is moving. The Kinect has tons of them to be able to recognize your body in full at many different points. The PS MOVE doesn't use Infrared technology it uses the eyetoy with built in software to recognize in a 3D space where that ball is and also what color it is adds another factor. It's similar in movement but it...

On Nov 23rd at midnight (assuming my local gamestop does that) I will be picking up my GT5 CE and playing it some. Then work the next day then playing it all day after work then I will be home for thanksgiving for 5 days and play it at home with my bro on my dads 55" high def tv with full surround sound. I won't be on this site for a good week after Nov 24th...
Graphics in Shift were fine. No they aren't GT5 graphics but GT5>Shift 2 is a dumb comparison considering GT5 is a simulator and Shift is clearly an arcade with a simulator feel in that it wants you to feel involved but not in the most realistic way just a fun kind of way. Shift 2 could be very popular and I think it will do just fine. Curious to see more.
Edit: I do need to admit from seeing the actual game to the first "screenshots" released the game looks...
It's a teaser trailer people. I am guessing maybe at most 15-30 seconds. At VGA we will see actual gameplay. This is simply a marketing aspect to build up hype.
