I have to agree. The demo looks damn good and is definitely optimized even better then Crysis. And surprisingly I am having a lot of fun killing time with it to level up my weapons and abilities. It "feels" right.
@Korix Pre-rendered does not mean fully CGI. The Uncharted series uses real-time rendering with pre-canned camera movements for the cut scenes but it is all in-engine footage being done in real-time. That's why people have so much respect for the graphics.
I got a 3D tv, 2 pairs of glasses, 3d transmitter, with a 5 year warranty and a nice stand all for around $1800. 40" Sony 3D. It's expensive but it has already come way down and will continue to lower in price.

Shift is in its own league of racers. It's not GT5 or Forza but a mix between the two. Sim like features and arcade features. One might say it's the best of both worlds. I am curious to see some more footage.
Some real talent out there. Impressive stuff. I also would like to add this vid even though it's not a movie like vid it portrays the game it's mimicking nearly perfect in every way.

I'm waiting until end of summer which is around my birthday. But budget wise I am probably going to spend around 2k. I've built computers before and have a degree in IT. I just haven't built one for a few years so I need to check out the benchmarks. I hear that their game is going to be able to run very opitimized for PCs.
I already got plans to build my new rig at the end of summer in light of this game. I am thinking SLi but maybe crossfire. Still need to do research on the latest specs and such but yea, this game is going to be amazing.
David Jaffe is brutally honest. Some people can't handle that, in fact a lot of people can't. But jaffe tells you how it is, and he doesn't care who he's talking to. Cliffy B on the other hand is a younger very successful guy within the games industry due to GeOW being as big as it is and I feel Cliffy has let the "fame" go to his head. It shows by his blatant fanboyism and immature remarks.
While these are impressive. This is next-gen...

I personally liked the part in the beginning where he sees everyone crashing into the wall and decides "Hey that looks like fun" and does the same...All the same game is preordered.
Already preordered and cant wait to see this bad boy in 3D!
Keep in mind DICE confirmed that the PC is the primary platform. However they also said (like Crytek) they don't like doing ports so they build each platform type different to cater to the machine it will be played on. We all know PC will look best but consoles will probably look damn good too.
@Ultimate_Revenge
I don't recall anyone in this thread saying KZ3 looks and sounds better then BF3. Perhaps because they are nothing alike other then being an FPS. KZ3 has good graphics but its the art direction that allows it do so. BF3 is going for more realism in a real environment. There's no reason to compare because you can't. Socom 4 is the closest comparison to BF3 but it's a 3rd person shooter so again can't compare gameplay but maybe sound. Altho...
First off why bring in KZ3? It's by no means a realistic war FPS. Second off, the only game that may compete with this in terms of sound is Socom 4. The past Socom games have been known to be very realistic in sound and gameplay. Just do a little research and you will see.
I don't have a capture system yet to capture direct feed footage but there are some areas where you can see the textures are lower resolution and some areas where it looks really good. The snow area is fantastic and the attention to detail even with footprints being seen is impressive. Other areas like the junkyard a lot of textures look lower resolution. I could take a picture with my dig cam but you probably won't be able to tell the difference.
Whether or not Betas are seen as advertisements I love the fact that Devs give us the game early 99% of the time for free and allow us to see what they have and get the actual gamers' opinions. I have been in many open and closed betas and notice by the final game that the devs listened.
Damnit I recently just bought the PS Move bundle and navi controller. All I am missing is the Sharpshooter. They were sold out at the midnight release of KZ3 lol.
I feel from the trailer that Ghost Recon Future Soldier is going for a Crysis type of gameplay considering your future outfit allows you to be cloaked and what not. BF3 is also my choice for shooter this year. Well besides KZ3 which I have now and Socom4 probably.
If this is in-engine then holy hell this game is shaping to be a graphics mammoth. However if it's just cut scenes then bring on the gameplay. Would love to see some actual footage of it being played.

Something I am noticing about KZ3, especially now some people have gotten high levels and maxed out classes, is that most matches are just team deathmatch. Objectives are there but you see nothing but snipers, infiltrators not doing the objective, and seldom a medic or tactician.
The problem is to get points during a warzone match, the person who camps and gets the most kills get the most points. That's not right. KZ2 had like double xp if you killed someone within the d...
