this is a close to perfect game (it seemes) released at a reasonable distance from its predecessor...
i absolutely don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me and my opinion, but sometimes i wonder what it will take to get that endless praise, or perfect ten, and if not then fine, but what are you comparing it to??
people will still buy it... i mean I'm not for games increasing in price at all, and activision and their CEO is not my favorite on a list of publishers...but in the end i still REALLY want to play MW2 and if i have to pay a little more for it, (yes it sucks) but I'm just gonna have to swallow the bullet, i don't have the discipline to wait on a game like that because there are few titles that i have A LOT of fun with as it is,and the COD MW series is definitely one of them...

listen, some of you guys need to recognize that not all people are similar to you. Not everyone talks the same, not everyone had the same day to day life growing up. I mean, everytime i go into the thread of one of HHG's article i see some dirty dirty stuff, not warrented by any means.

i too have been gaming for a while, but i don't think u need to have to experience it... i think its actually why we are gamers, because we can detach ourselves enough to get into the game...
also, i believe sometimes it has nothing to do with whether the game is good or ASTONISHING... the last time i remember truly enjoying myself during the ENTIRETY of a game was Resistance 1. I'm talking just single player marathons... something about the first resistance that clicked with me...
THATS the game we all get... smooth, and beautiful by a nitpicks standards, and FUN AS HELL!!! oh man.. it was on console too!!...that looks pretty friken awesome!!!

i have to admit, i was skeptical, as i already played GOW 1 and 2 on my 60 gig, i thought what they were doing would look more like that but HOLY CRAP this has NO JAGGIES ON AN HDTV... that's an excellent sign... they really went the extra mile to make this game look close to next gen...
camera angles we're already there, the feel was already ahead of its time so once u fix the graphics, WHICH THEY DID lol... i'm just speechless. fav series of all time and i'm glad i can get it f...
when i first started out playing shift i thought the same, BUT u can change ALL of that in the controls menu, not just the standard steering control and others in that menu, but if u go to the bottom of the controls menu , u can change everything from steering dead zone, to sensitivity, to speed steering dead zone..and many more
You can CONFIGURE SHIFT to play anyway you want to be honest...

Its a totally different beast, with lots and LOTS of controlling options, tuning, clean interface, awesome graphics, and all the cars you can ask for...
I'm having a BLAST, its all i'm playing and i urge you guys on the fence to pick it up, because it really is that good...

microsoft is pretty good at advertising yes, but i don't know how long you have been gaming but Sony has the most impressive advertisement in both respective companies' past.
i think the advert team retired from the ps1 and 2 era and the new college kids working for the ps3 have a bit to learn, either that of sony is deciding to save some money...but we just need those crash bandacoot type commercials back, and can u remember the ps2? every time that chime came on you knew it was...
