Uncharted two looks amazing in every way, but if anyone can top ND, its SSM
whoever it may be... make a console that looks cool... i mean i can say that 360 hit the nail on the head as far as customizing your face plate and shell, but i want that on sony's platforms too...
the 720 or whatever can go even further by making a machine that looks like its generating the green plasma within lol and the ps4 a console that screams your jumping through a time warp into the beyond!

now this looks good!, i can't wait for this to drop so i can once again thrust into the halo universe. Darker, grittier, armor attachments are KEY! this is going to be an amazing game if everything in that magazine come to fruition.

no worries bud, but you may have taken my statement a little out of context...
it was good fun the minute i started the game, but it really ends up turning better than I (or maybe most people) intended once you get into it... but its not great, and that is why i rented it..

other than that, i totally hear ya, with the exception of demons souls, but i rented bayonetta and darksid...
that does sound plausible, but i think the main reason is people haven't found a way to burn a disc yet and play a hacked ps3, so they can't use their own mods, as this is a mod not a glitch...
i know you were trying to go for a reason that put the 360 in good light, but the truth of it is the 360 is one big hack machine... ps3 not so much (although there are a few glitches floating around like the level 70 prestige 10 and so fourth)
aside from your opinions on the the game I MYSELF play the game a lot and I'm pissed that I'll have to wait for the maps... BUT its not going to make me buy a 360 to play them...
there are PLENTY of games to keep me busy, and when it comes, it comes... hell i just bought the socom add on and that took what? a year and a half?
btw, darksiders gets really good if you stick with it, i was having a blast with that game lol
i wouldn't bet on it, but its safe to say that A LOT of the people who played the first two were playing on hacked ps2 systems... maybe that can account for 1 to 2 million peeps...(given the size of the ps2 install base)
GOW is my favorite franchise of all time, but even i know it will take a huge shift of the video game platelets for it to outsell the mighty HALO...

hell, imo i thought since heavenly sword and r1, the 360 hasn't made a game to meet those levels, and i loved gears 1 and 2 and halo 3 was cool, but it seems when we're talking about cinematic values that just awe the player, in lie stands the reason i got my ps3, now its time for the rest of you to get one too! lol

the launch and problems socom had are awful...but i still played that game for weeks since its launch, there's something it does right, can't put my finger on it but if it was just a little more polished, i think it could be triple A caliber...
imo they in no means ruined the socom series, just didn't take it as far as they could have went with it.
I PERSONALLY agree with you (although there are a couple others that might have a shot, pending on release) but GOWIII i don't think stands a chance...
People like Gametrailers and the like (who have very close ties to VGA's) already said in their bayonetta review, that "the QTE or button pressing prompts are no where near as tedious and unforgiving as the ones in GOW and as such will frustrate you less..."

some people are saying that they didn't think the GOW3 demo was good looking? I think we all admit there is a certain standard we can go by when it comes to visuals and that stated, it can't nearly be dismissed as opinion that a game looks amazing. I think most of these people stopped at the 2008 vga trailer and didn't play the demo... because there's no denying that the game looks magnificent, and if not in your eyes, what games do you play?
not you guys of course, but GOW3 WILL PWN EVERYTHING... its not even subject to criticisms and objective speech, because NO GAME does it better.
