AS a SINGLE game, I'm psyched! that trailer looked better than crysis one consoles, you know its going to have better controls... i'm not a fanboy or a hater of COD, in fact i put down black ops because i was sick of it once i saw the new guns and maps it was the same... but if they innovate and improve on story telling and gameplay, this game looks to be incred.

I was thinking the same thing, until i thought maybe they want the Christmas sales to boost over the 3 mil mark... plus end of the trilogy which has kratos and the greek mythos world revolving around the "GOD OF WAR" which is what ties into the march date, this would be the perfect time to end the trend... but i'd love to see an extra few hours of prologue or epilogue before then...

the ps3 slim should have had an N card in it... wouldn't have split user base, because N cards are compatible with b and g wireless routers, I'm lucky enough to have a 25 ft Ethernet cord to reach my computer room, (i only need like 10 of it lol) but it would be nice as i just bought the slim to know there's a wireless card in there that can handle the 5 ghz channel / signal strength my router can send... BUT i also don't believe that the g card only maxes out at 54 mega BITS ...
you both make good points. but if a multiplat has sold 8 mill on the PS3 alone world wide then why can't an exclusive... Metal gear was YEARS ago ps3 user base is much bigger now, but Sony has to do the marketing that activision did in order to show it...i mean i feel k2 had its problems, but if they cleverly say this isn't k2 ITS K3 and show the people who bought the 8 mil of black ops on the ps3, and market it right, out of a what? almost 50 million ps3 user base, u don't think...

as with the comment related to "truth" MOST 2.5 inch SATA let me say again, SATA drives will work on the ps3, the extra rpm is ok, and will cause MORE heat than ur 5400? rpm i think it is currently in the ps3, but not so much so that it will cause any problems (likely) unless your playing in a hot environment as it is with no room for the ps3 to breath. but it will not improve ur ps3's performance by 200 times, like ryudo said. i think some people are missing the point, as in will the extra 5 gigs make the game better in some way? Can just having it uncompressed make it that big? or will it come with dlc? hmmmm why such a size difference, full 1080p? who knows...

about the whole sales part...
Obviously its not going to sell as much, i wouldn't be suprised if it out sells black ops on the ps3 though. With every CoD game released the ps3 user base has gotten bigger and bigger. Maybe that crowd will get exposed to K3 and like what they see. I see at least 700,000 people playing at night each time i sign on, So it obviously sold AT LEAST a mill or two on the ps3. All Sony needs now is to address that crowd and say hey, heres a sony...
The ONLY good thing imo about this game is the fighting MECHANICS, half the fighting style, and great animations. But they wrapped a golden marble in the middle of 100 lbs of cow dung if u ask me... and yes here it comes... its ARGUABLY better than the fighting system in GOW (if u hit square square triangle) but that's not how a good GOW player operates Kratos. AND is again IMO why GOW stands above all these other games that are jack of all trades master of none (or 1), where as in my eye...
the real down side is that all the others don't recognize the great games, value, and overall experience. They want voice chat in game, yea so do i. But i much rather have all these games where the money is spent PRODUCING instead of MARKETING, a console that i know isn't already showing its limits, and publisher that seems to get the hardcore crowd.
