i dunno guys, i wanted MAG to be awesome, but I'm sick and need my games to look great and play great...
This is actually the FIRST time a sony first party game disappointed me... i know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but you can't deny the crispness and the pretty good looking MW2. the pretty damn near 1 to 1 controls and the 60 frames per second all while looking pretty awesome.
My problems with mag were the GRAPHICS, the controls felt clunky,and hit det...
when a game that looks like this gets a 9... how the hell can anyone think in this day in age of games, this can get a 9.. its not horrible, but come on... clunky blocky animations and graphics... somebody must have just been itching for an action adventure
this game doesn't seem to be coming along to well
it does look kind of last gen... but still looks fun... if the end product has killzone graphics, and gears and uncharted's animations... it would be pretty fun... but that probably won't happen
BUT in all honesty, insomniac is a company you KNOW, if the ps3 can do something the 360 cant they won't gimp the ps3 version... plus they have 2 studios now with 3 or 4 teams i think, so i'm sure ps3 will still get its stellar exclusives, plus sony owns resistance.

You cant possibly call me a fanboy for saying this, just read my past comments...
but without a joystick we're in trouble... HOLDING half of a ps3 controller in your left hand and using the wand in your right is ridiculous and disgusting. they need to rethink this before it hits, because I'm anticipating some hardcore games with this thing and have faith in sony to do it right, but the way its looking now is just plane dumb.

I'm fine with "more of the same" as i don't believe any two games are really alike, just a stand i have that each games story, guns,graphics, and feel are different so that's good enough for me.
then again, i'm 24 years old and have been gaming long enough to remember the NES, so all these awesome spectacles that games have in them today i can appreciate, as oppose to those who started with this gen or the last, who are kind of spoiled and self righteous lol
i mean, MW2 is great, but i cannot wait for this to hit, Bad Company 2 is awesome as well, but just seeing those gameplay snippets it looks like modern warfare and bad company 2 had a baby, and i cannot wait to sink my teeth into this one
i still have to say vga's are corrupt, first off i thought we the gamers made the decision, but that jack black thing for male voice was clearly planed well ahead, with the podium all sawed up ready to collapse lol...
AND nothing against Dragon age, but HUGE disappointments that demons souls didn't win...
and NOT because its a ps3 exclusive, its just a little less common than the tried and tested dragon age skin... and it was successful...

but aside for what game is actually better, GOW will remain my favorite series of all time, until it doesn't... but i just don't think any other character will get the hairs on my neck and arms raised like kratos... perfect voice, perfect dialog, perfect setting, perfect story, and perfect animations make it MY favorite series of all time.

thinks the GOW series or specifically the GOW3 demo is lackluster in the combat section, CLEARLY does not know how to play it.
GOW has always been a mix as you please type of combat, where if you looking for different ways to annihilate people you'll find it, the noobs hit square square triangle, and triangle, triangle, triangle.
In the demo alone, i was using that new "graple" move, and it was INSANE, tossing guys up, holding tri, switching weapons in mid ...
Wii titles i have the same feelings about too, but i can't be excited for them because of the HD thing, i do care about graphics, and I'd love to see a SLIGHTLY more mature GOW3 looking zelda or metroid, but its dawned on me that I'll have to wait to see if nintendo caters to their hardcore with another console, making it a graphical beast machine (as well as their generational "New gimik")

I'll certainly play Bayonetta, but stick with GOW as far as the better game... because even if the combat is better which i have yet to see, its not by much, and GOW clearly has everything else in spades...
