When fall new releases start flooding in; hopefully their will be more actual articles about gameplay and the industry instead of resolution/fps.

Bull; DirectX is for Windows and Xbox.
Whether you pre-order or buy the game new at launch the dev/publisher still gets the same amount of money. It shouldn't matter if you pre-order the game or what retailer you buy from.
I think this should be for people that buy the game new, kinda like Zaeed for Mass Effect 2.
The system already has 1080p games. There is being such a strong emphasis on 1080; that I fear some games are going to sacrifice frame rate, textures,lighting, models etc to achieve it.
This one game that does not need one of the redundant resolution/frame rate articles.

Are multiplayer only games cheaper to make than their singleplayer only counterparts? Multiplayer only games require servers that have to be bought/rented by the developer. Multiplayer games often require more patches than single player games. But then again multiplayer only games may require less programmers,artist and fewer voice actors, writers etc.
What happened to the cheap platinum hits versions of Xbox games?
I wouldn't say the Duke and DS3 were aweful. I found both uncomfortable due to one being too big and the other too small. The N64 controller had a design and button placement that made very little sense and made the controls of many games awkward.

The Xbox One is about where it should be for being in 13 of its biggest regions. The Wii U is holding higher sales thanks to Mario Kart 8 release. It will be interesting how many Wii Us are moved by Smash Bros. I also wonder how much launching in more regions plus the release Halo MC:Collection will affect XB1 sales.

I own both and I don't see a major graphics difference between the titles on the system.
