You did a poor job marketing the console. You kept high licensing fees which made sure many third party devs didn't put their games on your platforms. You launched and produced low budget titles that looked cheap, yet sold them as AAA. Refused to embrace online.Your fan base asked for titles like Metroid; instead you focused on Mario spin-offs and amiibos. When price drops were needed you kept the price up by not making the semi-impractical gamepad optional.
You are not being forced to spend money on the game nor play it.
LOL No. The environmental textures were flat and bland, models looked low poly and the effects such as the explosions looked pasted onto the environment.
@emilijo777 Splatoon probably didn't cost much to make (like most Nintendo games) I'm certain its' sales will be enough to break even or make profit.
I think if all MS first party games are brought to PC it would devalue the XB1. I do remember Aaron Greenberg stating that not all exclusives would come to PC. I don't want to see games like Scalebound, Halo 5, Gears of War 4 (Gears 4?) and Quantum Break coming to PC. Those games were being marketed as reason to own an XB1 and should be exclusive for as long as possible. However I can see a benefit to releasing some of these exclusives on PC at later dates to build the ip.
The game is open world. It's rare for those types of games to be 60fps on consoles.
I personally would of preferred 900p 60fps, but I'm not a software engineer. I can assume the devs are targeting what gives the best mix of performance and visuals.
Is this profile and 'Chrisx' the same person?
Are you talking about graphics? Killzone 2 E3 2005 was prerended. I do think the Wii U has some pretty games (Bayonetta 2 and Super Mario 3d world), they still don't look as good as the best looking PS3 and 360 games. But the games I mentioned due run at high framerates.
Nintendo has restricted the graphical potential of their games due to dated hardware. But to be fair, most of Nintendos games are cartoon games and thus aren't as demanding as many of the AAA you see...
This is clickbait to stir up people that don't read .
Maybe they are testing split screen performance?
The last Nintendo platform I had before purchasing a Wii U in fall of 2014 was a Gameboy advance. I bought the Wii u cause I thought Nintendo was really turning things around in 2014. They had great games and their sales increased and the future of the console looked brighter. What I saw at E3 just a few days ago made it seem like Nintendo was preparing to phase out the Wii U by 2017.
The original gears in my opinion was the first game of the 7th gen that looked truly next gen. It had that omg these graphics feel to it. I haven't had an 8th gen game that has given me that same feeling yet.
I greatly enjoyed the Metroid Prime trilogy but I will not support this game. It has the Metroid Prime title slapped on it to try and draw fans in. The game looks cheap and gimmicky, even the art style is poor they should of called this game 'Chibiroid:Federation Trooper'! Jokes aside they should of just presented this as Federation Trooper and label it as a spin off.
The difference here is that MS is putting IPs that they own and have complete control over onto PC. This at least in my opinion devalues the console. Just a year ago they were listing all these first party owned IPs as a reason to own an Xbox One.
This would devalue the Xbox One
The player character looked more like he would be Baird's son.
This looks like a budget title that is going to be sold as a AAA game.
Some were/are available for download on 360
I doubt the PS4 is 50% more powerful, it's got a better GPU yet weaker CPU. The PS4 main advantage over the XB1 is the high amount of ROPs ;it's GPU has 32 instead of 16. The XB1 CPU 1.75 ghz with 48ops instead of 16 ops running at 1.6ghz. PCs vary in power considerably some are weaker than iPhone 6s others are as powerful as 8+ PS4s put together. The XB1 and PS4 are comparable to most midrange PCs.
