My 6th gen gaming experiences was mostly limited to one console (original Xbox) supplemented with PC RTS games and brother Gamecube. During the 6th gen I played more genres like fighter(which I never once touched during 7th). I am not a huge fan of RPGs.I enjoyed both KOTOR games on Xbox, plus Fallout 3 and the Mass Effect series.

Articles like this fuel the perception that the PS4 is way more powerful than it actually is. The PS4 is more powerful than the XB1 ;but is it vastly more powerful like this article is indicating....No its Not. Articles like this also fuel the recent plague of people obsessing over resolution and frame rate. The more articles like this that are written the more gamers will be disappointed by games not hitting 1080p 60fps.
Nintendo already has problems with people confusing the Wii U as Wii peripheral. Nintendo seems to have distanced themselves for other consoles more in the past 2 generation, there console seems to be the most distinct. I also hope Nintendo doesn't release a new console for at least 3 years.

If the Wii U tablet was removed from a particular Wii U sku the console could be sold much cheaper. However the tablet is more apart of the Wii U console than say the kinect on the XB1. Even though I don't own a Wii U (but want one) I believe the tablet and pro controller should be bundled with every console to give gamers more options.
You alright the res and frame-rate being the same doesn't mean that the PS4 version is gimped. The resolutions could probably the same cause the PS4 might be using a more hardware intense AA than the XB1 version.
I know. I strangely love Fallout 3 yet I can't finish New Vegas.

This was based on playtime and pure enjoyment. Everybody has a right to their opinion. My list should just be taken as my opinion. I only played on two platforms and skipped alot of games during the 7th gen.

Good to see this game is getting good reviews. I'm also pleased this game didn't have a strict review embargo like Colonial Marines. I may have to pick this up sometime for PS4 or XB1.

Just because a console isn't doing as well as the leading console doesn't mean it needs saving. Hasn't the Wii U been doing about 40 to 60k a week since the release of Mario Kart 8? Also Smash Bros Wii U is coming out in a few months and its bound to boast sales.
MS is probably helping the dev decreasing CPU overhead like they did with Blizzard for Diablo 3.
I've been really thinking of getting a Wii U for a few months for Bayonneta 2 and other exclusives. I wish there was bundle with a pro controller and standard wii u gamepad.
I for reason doubt there would be that big of a performance difference. I guessing the Xbox One version would be 900p 60fps (unlocked) or 1080p 60fps (unlocked [with a lower average frame rate than the PS4])
Nintendo has always been first party heavy and the company has been getting less 3rd party support since the release of the Wii. The original Xbox even got better third party support than the Gamecube despite the two consoles selling very similar numbers of consoles.
