How are PS4 games gimped when they usually run at a higher res than there XB1 counterpart and sometimes have slightly better lighting/textures and higher frame rates? Usually when a game look poor on next gen it looks bad on both consoles. When a game looks good on next gen it looks good on both.
They have been making Ratchet and Clank for over a decade and at least based on the review scores they have been doing a good job.So why not let the original creator continue to make games for the series?
I just purchased the Ratchet and Clank trilogy for PS3 and I'm having a blast with it. I also enjoyed the resistance series and I'm excited for Sunset Overdrive.
One of the characters is from an unreleased games.
The writer of this article needs to keep his fanboy in check. Insomniac hasn't abandoned Sony they have just went multiplatform. They are still developing Ratchet and Clank for the PS4, there is no need to fuel fanboy flame wars with articles like this.
I don't get why the delayed the launch in Europe. Many Europeans speak better English that Americans.
Gamestop is dropping the console price (and selling at a loss) to increase the chances of customer buying several games with the console. Gamestop does this all the time, regardless of console.
Nice list; it would take me forever to figure my top ten games of 7th gen. My favorite single player game may have been Mass Effect 2, but I just beat Red dead Redemption a few days and was amazed by it.
What I didn't like about the game was that the Joker was the main villain. I also didn't like how this batman is suppose to beat less experience than the older more mature batman in asylum/city; yet he is able to beat an intelligent Bane and Deathstroke.
I made some grammatical errors myself lol.
Stupid list; many of the games listed haven't been released yet.
Edit: Miss read the headline (which has grammatical some errors)
I still think the list is stupid.
max payne lol
I find frame rate more immediately noticeable than resolution . Higher frame rates improve the smoothness of game, as opposed to resolution which just makes a game sharper (sometimes barely noticeable). A dev should never drop frame rate(unless it marginal) for a higher resolution.
I hoping the Creative Assembling delivers a great game this October.
Gaming journalism is becoming a joke. I remember less than half a decade ago I could go online and find lengthy professional articles, that discussed actual games and innovation.
Another pointless res article. If the media keeps pushing 1080p. We are gonna get console games that either sacrifice graphics quality or frame rate to achieve 1080p.
I actually own and have played Beyond Good and Evil (Xbox), Vanquish (PS3) and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (Xbox). There are so many good games that never get the marketing to sell well and be enjoyed by gamers.
Gears and Uncharted were only rivals cause they were both third person high quality games that showcased their respective consoles graphical capabilities well. Gears is TPS, while Uncharted is action adventure game. Gears was also more mp focused than Uncharted and had very brutal violence.
Phil Spencer has stated the importance of new IPs aswell as possibly bring back many older IPs that haven't been used in long time. Establishing new IPs (like the second BlackTusk game...
I would of rather MS built an IP to rival Uncharted. A new IP would have however taken a few years to create.
I'm also getting tired of the daily dozen or so Tomb Raider articles, timed exclusives are nothing new.
A 380 dollar PC isn't gonna make you part of the pc gaming master race. It will make you a frustrated gamer, your rig parts will be of poor quality and your newer games ain't gonna run so hot.
