Whats amazing is this happened then MS finally changed there DRM. Listening to gamers my a**.. They were embarrassed on national TV again and finally had enough. Though i'm glad its happened as its great news for xbox owners as they don't deserve this DRM stuff shoved down their throats they got enough problems being forced to buy Kinect whether they want it or not.

There is a solution you can access recovery so sony can release an update perhaps 4.46 which you can install via recovery which will fix.
Its not bricking exactly you can still access recovery which means it can be updated and fixed and Sony will be releasing a patch ASAP.
At least people can access their recovery menu so Sony can push out a new update for those affected to install via recovery menu, via a usb stick. So no bricked PS3s

Its a god damn joke really as I been playing FIFA on PC at 1080p 60FPS on my PC for a couple of years now with no problems. They are just making excuses and abandoning it due to bad sales like they did with NHL.
Yeah we will see a lot of this in the upcoming generation heavy graphical games will run at 30fps like Killzone, Halo, Battlefield and then your Fifa, COD, Forza will run at 60fps as they are not as graphically intense(not good graphics just amount of content).

The thing is if a developer loses the supposedly 20% of sales to trade but sells 50% more copies on ps4 it wont matter. Why would it sell more on PS4? Because as things stand it looks like more PS4 consoles will sell thanks to pre-order numbers and unless its a shooter or first party game it doesn't sell as good on xbox as playstation. We will here this power of the cloud BS for a few years as developers try to justify there games and fanboys there consoles. Actually the article is a load of crap the developers said at E3 the only reason its not on PS3 is budget restraints but they do want it on as many consoles as possible in the future. Meaning a Playstation launch is very realistic and its probably a timed exclusive. If you concentrate on 1 console at a time you can get your game out faster and thus make income faster. Just traded my 3DS for a Vita thanks to E3 and how bad Nintendos lineup is.. Nothing really amazing coming out for 3DS in 2014 making me worth keeping it. Plus got sick of paying £40 for a game that now feels like a £2 game I can get on my ipad.
