I will love to see this as I am not doubting PC hardware blows next gen away and games like BF4 and the like will look so much better on PC than nex gen consoles. However COD on PC in past games have looked freaking terrible.. This will come to PS4 no doubt in my mind, MS been after a deal like this for years and Sony beat them to the punch they gotta be gutted they did it. This deal could shift them millions more PS4s as they could subsidize the box in return for a contract.
Unless they dont have a review copy. Some people can get early copys from retail.
It probably means it will just randomly power down a lot. Instead of RROD next gen we will hear of the console randomly shutting off while playing Halo 5 or something.. At least in the first couple of years until the kinks are ironed out.
The problem is theres are only a few games that use more than 2 cores and thats why Intel spanks AMD in benchmarks even with lower clocks thanks to better architecture. However pushing past 2 clocks AMD used to be the best until Haswell came along that cpu set is quad core i5. No games use more than 4 cores right now (well there might be a few indie games?) so Haswell i5 series batters the FX8350.

Pretty crap for gaming though as 90% of games still use no more than 2 cores.
This is why Consoles couldn't begin to match PC's over £200 worth of games with a £300 graphics card..

Its all banking on cloud computing being what MS say it is and I really think its just gonna be stuff like AI etc for forza rather than real world computing purely because the amount of bandwidth needed for the stuff people are talking about would be astronomical. Plus your still held back by your internet connection which is a lost slower at sending information than hardware inside the box.

Kinect 2 may fix the lag but it doesn't fix the fundamental flaws that games will still be on rails thanks to no controls other than your body.

Indeed thats why PS4 works well... as you can get that WiiU experience if you want it by buying the Vita or you can save some cash and not go for it. You can get the camera if you want it or not. I love as a gamer having the choice..
BF4 is gonna look awesome on my new PC with Haswell and 7970.. Decided on that rather than nex gen consoles.. I reckon I can easily get 60fps too at ultra considering I get over 90fps on BF3 right now average and it peaks over 120fps..
