I think the guy who wrote this article has been fooled as if he did his research he would realise the Xbox One games he had been playing were played on top of the line PCs on W7 with Nvidia cards NOT Xbox ones. Thats why he saw a difference in swing of Xbox.
Getting the Xbox out before the PS4 could be the only advantage they have left right now going into this next generation as PS4 has all the momentum. Xbox may be more value for money in terms of what you get (maybe not in terms of graphics) but getting xbox fans to believe it is a hard sell especially those who don't want Kinect.

Exactly they spend a LOT more developing films too. Gamer developing done well makes millions for developers. They lose money not because of used games but because of being badly managed. Movies you could argue are bought by more than games but they are 1/4 of the price so that easily makes up for the difference. Te reason games don't sell like movies is the price and they talk about increasing them every generation. They are going in the wrong direction and eventually consumers will stop...
Theres plenty of games missing from this list Arma tactics, dynasty warriors 8 and one piece: pirate warrios 2 off the top of my head theres probably some lesser known exclusives aswell.. It also has the decency to list Minecraft as an exclusive... Thats on like every platform in the world bar PlayStation..
@sjaakiejj your right I remember buying Wild Arms at launch for PS1 for £39.99 for my PS1. RRP has only gone up once for PS2 games to £49.99 but we never see games get that high except for at GAME in the actual stores if you buy online you can get 99% of games at £40 and it will be the same next generation too. Yeah but don't forget you get the 4 year old games on xbox 360 now for free like Halo 2 and AC2. MS are trying to match PS+ but fell flat on their backsides with this one with no free games for Xbox One and the games they giving all old games nobody cares about anymore.

There is but people have to realise theres a huge reason why games on STEAM are so damn cheap and thats because people cannot do things like trade them in and borrow them. STEAM is an amazing platform but thanks to digital being so restrictive games are a lot cheaper. Are games gonna be cheaper because they are going to be restrictive on next gen consoles? NO. Hell they might even try to be cheeky and make them more expensive!

Exactly its the same damn reason nobody complains about not being able to trade STEAM games as we pay £25-£30 for a PC digital version compared to a £40-£60 console version. What extra incentive are we gonna get next generation to pay that premium?

Thats because cryengine was built to run on machines with 8gbs RAM and not 512mbs RAM. What they did on consoles was nothing short of a miracle and that goes for most console developers.. Saying that there programming for PC is lazy..
fakings easy but this was a full demo and with the power of ps4 it could easily do what these videos show and more.
Agreed by then I will be enjoying me nex gen console and wont be using my ps3. This game was supposed to be out next month so its a joke is been delayed almost a whole year since it uses the same engine as previous games. S-E are really slow lately at games from there Japanese side. I can only think this is because they have everybody working on a FF launch title for PS4.

These article writers never take a lot of things into account like games for consoles utilizing the consoles exact hardware and PC fragmentation. PC is amazing I stopped using my PS3 and only use for the odd exclusive now and then and went PC a long time ago for top quality games but fragmentation means when making a PC game you cannot make it look better than say a PS3 for double the power of a specced PS3.
