It never was only 360 fanboys made it out like it was. Although it had more backup servers than most it was still as vulnerable as the rest.
main issue with always online is servers need to go down every now and then for stability reasons. You flush the crap from the server and reboot. This is usually referred to as maintenance. Sony, MS, Origin and even steam do it now and then. So just imagine being told you cannot play your console until servers are back up??
People gotta realise what can they add to Forza and GT to make people buy it? Then again people are sheep and buy a new game if the devs shove a new number on it. Take FIFA, Madden, COD and every other yearly series for proof of it.. Drive club and actually Forza horizon are what the gaming world needs a bit of variety.. Shame its because they are differnt people don't buy them..
Depends on what they add.. Hopefully it wont just be a graphics upgrade as games like GT and Forza already look great on current consoles..
Indeed look at any PC devs have only the few GB on the card to work with as windows takes up most of the system memory. 1GB for system OS out of 8GB is pretty damn efficient and it will only get better.
Im kind of enjoying the game but not getting any feeling thats pulling me back into it. I bought on the videos which made the game look awesome I'm kinda wishing I saved my cash now..
Nvidia make a LOT of money these days from graphics chips in mobile phones more than graphics cards. Consoles would have been a massive coup for them but it wasn't to be. AMD will be happy for this move.
PS3 top selling console even though PS4 announced, 360 selling 40k less yet 720 has NOT been announced.. No wonder MS are being quiet..
Makes sense to why the games were running on PC hardware too at the demo.

Thats 3rd partys they are trying to evolve the genre and nobopdy likes the direction there heading thats why ni-no-kuni got such high scores as it went back to basics. Forget graphics and flash get a decent system in there and a great story/characters and you got a great JRPG. If you want graphics in JRPG thats great but never forget the basics and stop trying to make a new battle system! we are happy with the existing ones!
Sorry but that's a BOLD statement comparing it to possibly the greatest JRPG of all time.. FFVII wasn't all flash and action it was solid in every department that's what made it so great.. Don't think we will ever see another JRPG come any where near it again. Mainly because we moved on and devs seem to concentrate less on story etc.. Which made the game great.
WOW this is certainly bad PR for MS.. They will probably come out with some sort of statement to save face..
Thing about 60fps is not all TV's can actually display it. People don't realize this. PC gamers have no issue as they run monitors for games but unless your TV is 60hz or higher you cannot even see 60fps.
cheaper hardware does not always equal inferior hardware. Look at the 360 it always had the cheapest of hardware to stay cheaper than the ps3 and still make profit..
Not only that hes trying to say people who buy the games base it on how hard it is to make the games... Erm.. yeah we care about that! We dont care about exclusives, trade in capabilitys or quality of our games we care about if its hard to develop for the developers. Last gen it was harder to make games on the ps3 yet it still emerged victorious worldwide even with an inferior online network early on and over a year head start in Europe.

Me so they probably have a deal with Sony to link to their products in this way its not about hate.. If not then they obviously want money. They make next to nothing off 3rd partys selling nintendo consoles on amazon. But if they sell a Sony product they make a LOT more.
The thing is EPIC support MS over Sony so to come out and say this just amazes me. They could have made the Gears series multiplatform after 2 but they seem more interested in there partnership with MS and making money from there engine. So speaking highly of Sonys consoles this time around won't make MS too well. Saying that EPIC supported PS3 really well early on as it added mos support for UT on ps3 only the only ps3 game with mods proving ps3 can do it.
Once nex gen comes out wii-u will get the b-rated EA games like with the wii-u what I mean by that is FIFA on the wii just flat out SUCKS compared to ps3/pc/360 versions. Due to lack of support as it has to be made separate. This will happen to most wiiu titles as they will be ports. Thats why in the end the WiiU will end up as a failure as its going to be full of ports.
