As for EPIC not liking PS thats crap Cliffy B doesnt but EPIC do. Remember the PS3 version of unreal had mods unlike the 360 version and got praise off EPIC for the power to do this. Gears 1 and 2 were part of an exclusive deal on xbox 360 and MS tied up the last 2 games and paid a crap load of money for the final 2 games. Keep in mind to buy out a game that late in a generation you gotta buy up the loss of potential sales. that deal would have cost MS in the tens of millions for each game.. ...
They already have production issues otherwise it would be launching worldwide. They tried to blame it on the trading lock that was initially announced for the console but that has since been removed so theres no excuse other than not enough consoles for a worldwide launch.
I also think this is down to them being behind Sony in production and to launch around the same time they had to cut corners.
Erm over 10 years an xbox one/PS4 would cost you over $1200. Console $399 plus 1 replacement over 10 years (everybody gets one I had 2 this generation alone!) = $349. So far thats $749. Add on 10 years of PS plus at $500 thats $1250. Thats for PS4 Xbox One is more expensive.

They said all next gen will be 1080p however they will reduce FPS to 30 in most to get this. So I would expect 30FPS long before 720p.. I think the next wave of consoles means goodbye to 720p. Dunno why people think we will be getting 720p. It may hit 60fps in places unless its locked to 30fps this game or they may do the same tricks as last gen and cover up holes with AA etc..

I hope they don't the CE is always badly optimized for everything just look at crysis for a perfect example you get games like battlefield looking just as good and only needing half as good hardware. Why you think that is? Because the engine is a LOT better and thats because the devs are better. Theres a reason people use Crysis for benchmarking there new cards on PC and not games like battlefield. Frostbite is a lot better engine and I would prefer it in more games..

DX11.1 is interesting as it means it will run faster on AMD as Nvidia cards don't support DX11.1. This is great for consoles as they both support it even though PS4 runs through Linux rather than windows which is a hold back as you guessed it Linux doesn't have native support for DirectX. It doesn't need it though look last generation the xbox 360 supported DX but the PS3 didnt and games like METRO used it and that was on PS3 looking just as good..
Your insane right? The cost of say a XBONE over the 10 year lifecycle is £829 (10 years live and £429 for initial console) I just built a PC for £900 that plays Battlefield 3 at 120FPS so your argument is invalid really.. I could build a PC that plays it around 90FPS+ for £600 easy. Not to mention the savings on not replacing your console every 4-5 years and cheaper games for PC. PC is actually cheaper than consoles even high end rigs and pumps out way better visuals.
Lets be fair most gameplay especially for XBONE on youtube vids are not being played off the actual consoles..

I take away from this as much as I do from other news when I read that 30fps remark.. Seems most AAA titles will be 30fps nex gen to keep that 1080p with DX11. It does mean full 1080p gaming finally but 30fps shows just how not powerful these machines really are. The RAM is overkill for 1080p gaming and the GPU/CPU are just not good enough to hit steady 60fps on much more than driving games. However You do get great looking visuals like above.. Cliffy B had the good relationship with them and hes left now. Thats why Sony showed off Unreal Engine at there presentation proving EPIC have been porting there engine over to there console. Trust me EPIC support PS just as much as Xbox.
