If you paid any attention to the launch you would know it was cancelled last minute because the Chinese government had reservations about some of the capabilities of the console, like video streaming. At that time MS were talking about weeks maybe months in delays, then all of a sudden the path was clear and they could launch. That was three days after the announcement of the delay.

The game has never been unplayable. Calm the hyperbole. This week has definitely improved matchmaking to a level it should have been at launch. I can only speak for myself but now I'm regularly getting into games none of this other crap matters. Halo is back baby! :D

Where did I say it kills frames? I said DDR3 does better with low latency intensive tasks like say...A.I. All the comparisons show that as soon as a lot of stuff starts happening on screen in the PS4 version in terms of big A.I crowds, the game starts to chug. Thats the GDDR5 pumping high latency data to the CPU which the CPU has to sort out and so results in lost frames.
Also you argument about the early games performance is completely flawed. Those games were less intensive...
It's not just a CPU speed advantage the X1 has, I've also read that it can process an extra 10Gb/sec per cycle over the PS4. How much of this is reserved for system processing I don't know.
And this is the one time we can see an advantage in DDR3 over GDDR5. DDR3 is low latency, which is pivotal for stuff like AI. GDDR5 has higher latency, so though it may be faster, the data it's rushing through arrives with more errors which is problematic when dealing with ...

That has nothing to do with the MEMORY type.
In another video they ADS'd on the battle rifle using a scope. BRs have always had a form of ADS in the scope attachment. The leaked videos above seem to imply you can be just as effective without ADS on the Assault rile, if it even lets you ADS.

Very good for Bungie but they will have their work cut out for them with the sequel. So much was lacking in Destiny like the story, characters and mission structure. The gameplay and loot system was very addictive so they have a solid foundation. All depends on whether gamers want to delve into that experience again. Less said about the selling of content after release the better...where is Saturn!?
